From his tour bus in Lexington, Kentucky, Drake and Slim Williams got on the horn this afternoon and held court for the DJs and some media. In the clip blow, Drizzy speaks on Jay-Z’s feedback on “Over” and coming straight outta Toronto.
After that, he talks about J.Cole again and wanting to work with him and Lupe on a bonus song for his album, Thank Me Later.

That joint wit him, Cole and Lupe would be fuckin’ crazy. Niggaz couldn’t handle it tho. U know hatin’ mufuckaz always got sum shit to say….But anyways, this kid is gonna be, well already is somethin’ special. I jus don’t get the hate from everybody. Like I said be4 in anutha Drake post:

Shit behooves me how much fans want every element from an artist, but STILL finds a way to complain when said arist delivers…
Not to press the issue, but it sounds weird for Drizzy to say “i hope no one makes him (Jcole) do anything irrational…” seriously Drake, don’t you think it began with a weird statement on your behalf. Sure, i’d like to hear a song with both of y’all and Lupe, but someone on your side should prep your statements or write them shits down in that blackberry to prevent anyone taking it sideways. I didn;t think you were saying anything to create an issue, but this conference call statement does nothing but feed a frenzy.
Drake knows what he’s doing, but i still think he is way over-rated… he not special like Cole or Lupe, they gonna be legends.

Featuring J. Cole on his DEBUT album is a bad idea. Drake shouldn’t give a highly touted rookie like him shine, with the subtle rivalry and what not. Lupe as a feature is good enough.
