Jay Elect tells VIBE he’s gonna have a spot on 50 Cent’s upcoming Invitation Tour.
I’m touring with G-Unit at the end of the month. I think 50’s gonna be down but right now I don’t even know the dates. Aside from that, I’m working on the next phase of my music. I want to tour and travel the world. I’m definitely at some point going to make a point to go all over the continent especially after the experience I had shooting “Exhibit C” in Nepal.
Whatchu kids think of that? Ha.
He’s a good mc. But I think he’s mad overrated. I can’t listen to an entire album he makes. Also, he shitted on the south a bunch of times in his rhymes. He’s a stan…

@DoeMoney He’s from the South… He has social commentary in his rhymes but Ive never once heard him talk shit on the South. If you’re talking about the line in Exhibit C he says “When New York niggas were calling southern rappers lame, but then jacking our slang…” Personally I think his song-arrangement and delivery could develop some more, but hes insanely smart and lyrical as hell. Dudes going places.

@DoeMoney Idk if stan means something different where youre from, but usually it means basically the same thing as a dickrider (a fan that jocks their favorite artist way too much- see Eminem’s song “Stan”). Not tryin to hate- u just threw me for a big loop with that one lol.
I agree Jay Elect is never gonna shine like he should but I think people assume that since hes not in the studio hes not writing. I saw him perform about a month ago and it was SICK- with plenty of new material. Hes not signed yet tho, so it really doesnt make sense for him to hit the booth and more or less waste great songs by putting them out (and paying for the studio time himself) before hes ready.
50 should sign him to gunit shit that label need some new blood
