Recovery is #1 and 2 on Itunes, #1 on amazon and Love the way u lie is #2 and not afraid #8 thats two singles in the top 10.
The sales may not reflect his success like the MMLP album in the end but i think this is the most complete album he ever had or the most mainstream because none of his singles were ever this huge. Just when i thought this guy reached his climax with the MMLP

You think he hasn’t gone crazy with it? He’s been rich for 11 years now so he has had time to do that but got over it like everybody else with money.

Em is way too hard and critical of himself. I was buggin when he threw both Encore & Relapse under the bus on several songs throughout the Recovery album.
Outside of the gay butt fuckin/raping & accessive accent use on Relapse that album was a banger. All but 1 track was Dre beats. And Encore and a handful of wack shit like Big Weenie, but it still had some hard unforgettable tracks like Mosh.
And even though he says they don’t count, they do.
I fucks with Recovery, though a few of the songs have to grow on me. That “No Love” stays getting the most play. He murked Weezy for the 3rd time in a row, but they both did it on that song.
I hope he gets those huge numbers. I downloaded the Deluxe on iTunes the second that bitch was available Sunday night at 11:16pm (when I got my email notification it was ready from my pre-order) and copped the CD at bestbuy yesterday.
I thought it was 2 covers, but its only 1, and you can flip it over in the CD case if you want the other cover.
I thought it would have been killer marketing to do 2 covers like we all thought it was because I was willing to cop both.
I know that shit might sound crazy to some, but I am a diehard Em fan/support/loyalist for life.

recovery is a banger no doubt…..but I’m greedy I still want that relapse 2 lol there songs on there that I’m curuous about….he should drop that as a mixtape or something…even if he sells it only on itunes shit ill pay the money for it fuck it……
I feel bad for not supporting first week sales but I’m gonna wait for the vinyl, hope it does good anyway.

Well in my opinion relapse wasn’t shitted on from a fan standpoint….maybe from the critics but not from the fans that album wasn’t a bad album it got more love than hate….an average hip hop fan would tell u that….all the people that wants relapse 2 are probaly the people who actually liked relapse you feel me……I mean the album was the number one hip hop album on the charts until jay dropped bp3 and it still held its own after the fact…..if he recorded 2 albums worth of material then he should of just dropped it as a double disc album u feel me…..but I feel like I’m being negative when I really don’t want to or trying too….just a lot of people is just curious about that relapse 2 cuz he had us on it for year then scratched it…so its kind of like fuck lol

And I agree Relapse was more a Rap album for Rappers & ppl really interested in studying the art. Than a gerneral hip hop fan album. The Lyrical talent, (Rhyme composition, Creativity, and Story telling detail) displayed on that album is some of the best shyt there is, out there to study! He passed up Biggy and Nas, on that album, in terms of technical skills. Stay Wide Awake is Brilliant! So yeah I wish he hadn’t thrown it under the bus!
Nevertheless i can’t be too upset that he did though cuz, the verbal gymnastics on Recovery is freekin Insane!

it’s kinda stupid really.
We got Relapse (1 half of a double album basically). So presumably he broke down the albums (R1 and 2) into 2 near enough equally good parts, putting some of the weaker and better songs on each. Now we don’t get to hear one so he gave us an album last year with only half the best material he had, and left off great songs. As fans we deserve to hear R2 !!!!!!!!!!!!
