Trey Songz’s new album Passion, Pain & Pleasure will be available on September 14th. Good Day, eh? To usher it in the right way, here’s his first single featuring Nicki Minaj…and her weird-ass voices. Bottoms up—hopefully you can stomach it.

THAT VERSE WAS FIRE! I think Nikki is suffering from the Rick Ross Syndrome that’s floating around this site. It’s when people hate something about the person or their overall character, and proceed to UNFAIRLY judge everything they do as bad. I can barely count “hot Nikki verses” on one hand, but that number just went up after this when. The chick WENT IN and the “voices thing” blended PERFECTLY and EXPERTLY here. I think she’s just gettin better and better.

i said i didn’t like nikki, but if i here a few more hot verses from ole girl i will humbly flip to the darkside. i didnt like her because of “the voices.” i didnt like her because most of her verses so far are ass. I disagree. I prefer Chris Brown as an RnB artist. Exclusive was a classic, and his first album was dope too. Im mad so many people slept on Graffiti though, that was a classic IMO too. All the songs on that album front to back were dope, and i enjoed the production and the different genres he incorporated into tht album. Like how you incorporate different design schemes and color into Graffiti, thats what he did with the sound of the album. But people were too busy hating him to listen to the album. And his mixtape was straight too.
The Dream has one classic and thats his first album. Love vs Money was boring for the most part, but Love King is pretty dope from the few tracks ive heard

Nah I think Chris Brown is good but he sounds a little generic especially when he first came on to the music scene. He sounded like every other R & B artist. The Dream although he’s not one of the best singer is very creative and he’s had such a big influence on Mainstream R & B. He’s so overlooked as a solo artist and I hope he drops another album….I haven’t gotten Love King yet but I’m buying on Tuesday next week along with Teflon Don, Maya and Big Boi’s album.
Depending on what year you were born, he either bit off R. Kelly really bad, or he’s bringing something fresh to the game that sounds so hot!

If Dream drops another album, I think its gonna be called Love Affair, i think i read that somewhere. And The Dream sounded like Chris Brown a lil bit when he first came out with that shawty is a 10 song. I heard it on the radio and thought it was Chris until I looked it up. I aint gonna lie, Love Hate was a classic, but he aint done nuffin close to that yet IMO. And what impact to mainstream RnB are you referring to?
Oh, and The Dream is a great song writer, gotta give him that too

He had an impact on the sound…He’s a producer too you know….Listen to the way R & B tracks started sounding like after The Dream started writing hits for other artist. Oh and The Dream sounds more like Prince than Chris.
Chris Brown is good too and he has grown since his debut and so has his ex Rihanna.
Thumbs up to Nicki. U losers should applaud her for meing able to use different flows some of your favorite artist do not have the ability to switch up. Continue to challenge urself as a artist that verse was hot!

BUT this song sounds like a gimmick to me..Like why would trey put this out as his first single…obviously the main goal in most artist minds is to sell and your not gonna just sell from some girls who think you cute and sexy..granted Trey is an incredible singer and Invented Sex and Say Ahh did well but this to me is taken a step backwards…this is not a great first single AT ALL…i have heard so many better songs from Trey and this is a dissapoint to me..like i dont like that nicki is on the first single that to me is like its too much but like i said her verse was cool but damn how many singles can 1 woman be on with out people getting tired of her…where is HER SHIT AT i know its coming in november but comeon now….
