On Monday, NPR highlighted the late Notorious B.I.G. as part of their 50 Great Voice series. They zeroed in on his flow and lasting influence on the game. To hear AZ tell it, Biggie’s song “Warning,” showcased his true lyrical ability.
“I don’t care where, what part of the Earth you’re from, when you listen to it, the dialogue is slow enough for you to digest it,” he says. “When you actually tell a story and be descriptive, that takes talent.”

I agree with you completely with you on that one. “Niggas Bleed” is one of the best examples of storytelling in rap that I’ve ever heard. That and Jay-Z’s “Meet the Parents” are two of my all time favorites.
