I grew up on Eightball & MJG, UGK, Scarface. Its sad to see pimp c go. I just hate the fact that everyones so caught up on his negativity. I mean if u youtube him he speaks about a whole lot of positivity. If u listen to UGK 4 Life he was on some real ish. The sad part about the hip hop generation right now is that we have these modern day prophets some on some bull but some on some real but we as a generation arent utilizing our power. We have the power to change a lot of the bs going on here in the U.S. You had Pac u had Biggie U still have many others especially Face/Jayz/Puff/Nas, but are we really utilizing our voice and power. Like pimp c said “Yall niggaz still on that dumb ish. I got a bread truck get up off that crumb ish.” Its time for the next move to bigger and better. First of all, if you got something bad to say about Pimp why don’t you watch his vids on YouTube where he talks about real shit & real issues in the hip hop industry & separates the real from the fake. Now about the album, I’m a UGK fan 4 life, let me make that clear, but this album isn’t a Pimp solo album. Y’all are right it’s pretty much a duets album. Too many (featuring…) and not enough songs with just Pimp. I already heard every song from this album & as much as it pains me to say this, I’ma keep it real…I was disappointed with the overall work in the album. The last song “Massacre” is actually “Pussy Nigga Anthem (Lil Troy diss)” just to let y’all know. I honestly believe the people who worked on this album, other than Pimp himself, didn’t put much effort in this & it’s a shame cause it’s the last time we get to hear a Pimp solo album. I believe if Pimp could speak from heaven he’d express his disappointment to his final solo album. Bun should be ashamed for allowing this to happen & putting people on that I’m sure Pimp wouldn’t want like Jeezy, Drake, & Ross? Come on! Where are the rappers Pimp liked like Z-Ro, Keke, Three 6 Mafia, Project Pat, & C-Murder? In closing I just wanna say Pimp forgive these people that put no effort to make your album something all UGK fans are gonna remember forever. Like Pimp said in the song Hit The Parking Lot, “Sweet Jones is Home, bitch Long Live The Pimp!”

I like that last comment by yung and that real talk by 4rmthesouth. Its very obvious a whole lot of pimp fans expected more from this album. Honestly i think they did they best on it. Dont think there was enough material from pimp to have full tracks so.. Bout that drake track.. I asked bun [on twitter] if he thought pimp woulda approved of drake bein on that track. He said “of course why wouldnt he?” i mean bun knows best in this case, right? Better than the fans anyway. I think many people thought it would sound like pimpalation. Pimp is dead how the fuck it gonna sound like that? He took southern rap tunes to the grave with him. Just left a few traces of it with cory and steve. And bout buns album, someone said then didn’t like it even if it did get a 5.. Wtf bwoy you better slap yourself (ayt minus the trillionaire track that was just crap) but it was a solid album. If you listen to all the albums they put out, their shit is updated. So you cant expect em to maintain the dirty money sound, or the sweet james jones stories sound, or the trill [first album] sound. So this is 20X Ugk. They got great producers on the two albums and dope collabos too [minus tpain and drake claimin he a honourary member in ugk town.. Ugh]. And dawg who care what the damn song is called the music still the same aint it.. Haha. Long live the pimp. Chuuuch!
