Q-Tip the producer is back and he’s keeping busy too. Last night, the Hennessy Artistry event kicked-off in the Chi and here Tip, Black Thought along with the Roots cover N.W.A’s classic, “Straight Outta Compton”. The event also featured Curren$y, Kid Sister, D-Nice and special guest, Erykah Badu.

word the Renaissance in my opinion was the best album in 08 not the carter 3 it was veryyyyy slept on that was on my ipod 4 a min

@ llllllxllllll – yeah, i remember the covers as well..they started with rapper’s delight then did the “history of influences” section during their shows…was dope to experience a live band create classics with no samples or backtracks
