Wyclef Officially Ends Presidential Bid
After a month of Wyclef contesting his presidency nomination snub, the rapper has officially decided to denounce his candidacy for President of Haiti. Last month, Clef was denied for failing to meet residency requirements.
“After weeks of quiet but painstaking reflection with my wife and daughter, I have chosen to end my bid for the presidency of Haiti. This was not an easy conclusion to reach; but it is one that was thoughtfully made, taking into account many, many competing factors and weighing the course that will best advance the healing of the country and help it find the quickest path to recovery.”

Clef wasn’t qualified on SO MANY Levels. Residency Experience, maturity, you name it. If he really wants to do this he has to go there LIVE there run for another office build a rep with the people build a rep politically, Make a change then run. His music career isnt grounds for presidency thats like saying JayZ should be pres of the US. Plus Clef made himself look like a child when he responded to Sean Penn and Pras the way he did. that’s not nonresidential at all dude.
