Vado On Huddy 6 Passing
On Monday, Harlem paid their respects to Huddy 6, who passed away in a car accident. Vado tells Rapfix that he doesn’t do too well at funerals, but attended the wake and parade. He also spoke on the night before.
“It really hit us, because he was out with us that night celebrating the release of Slime Flu at Perfection [nightclub]. “We had fun that night, we celebrated, we were going to celebrate that whole week. I woke up—I live in Edgewater, we got in the house at like 6 in the morning—I look outside I could see the whole George Washington bridge. You know, wild lights, helicopters, I’m like ‘What’s going on? What happened on the bridge?’ Mind you, I didn’t know nothing yet, I did Hot 97 that morning and I was supposed to do Envy [at Power 105] at 1, so I went home to to get some rest and my phone started blowing up. I missed like 100 calls. Then I’m hearing it, and I’m like ‘You can’t be serious.’ “

I don’t know what Mase’s situation was Huddy but it seems like he can’t win with any of those Dudes. Had he come it wouldve been “fuck this nigga comin round now for!?”
Like Homey ^ said… Pay YOUR respects.. The only time you question about funeral attendance where I’m from is a dude is bodied.. This ain’t the case.
And i saw some footage.. I’m hard pressed to think ALL them people out there really knew the Brother an I woudnt be surprised if dudes had demos in their pockets..

Huddy was like the Mayor of Harlem always at the rucker or promoting parties. He was part of Mase HarlemWorld. Just a cool as funny nigga. RIP Huddy.
