Just heard the entire Mood Muzik 4 Mixtape and I have to say, after just 1 listen, that this is one of the best mixtapes I’ve heard in 2010. Also, this is by far the best production he’s had since the Def Jam days.
Aftermath and 1000 Faces are going to be on repeat for the rest of the day, and Stuck In The Moment should get some radio spins.. The only thing is that “Remember The Titans” didn’t meet my expectations but overall it was a well put together mixtape.
This dude is more internet gangsta than Kanye is a gayfish.. First Kanye’s album looks SUPER weak.. I mean the Good music fridays just might as well continue because this album looks pretty lame.. Ill give the pusha t track and the remember the titans track some time.. but i will fast forward through the joe duddens verses.. For the record, saying Joe is copying Drake is way off. Joey and Mood Muziks in general definitely influenced Drake lyrically and melodically (which he admitted on Joebuddentv). Drake is heavily influenced by artists like Budden, and Phonte who were doing it first.

I’ve been listening to Joey since he was doing mixtapes with clue,fab,stack,and the A-team.His music has always evolved and changed for the better.In his early days he was known for his punchlines and over time his music has become more idealistic and diverse.What has always stayed the same is the Brutal honesty,clever word play,and the connection his music has with u.Joey’s music is therepy in a way.He gives u reality in a clever way instead of all the bullshit and lies.
