HHC caught up with producer Pete Rock this past weekend and during their conversation, he mentioned that he would be releasing five albums in 2011 including one with Camp Lo and another with CL Smooth. Looks like it’s going to be a big year.

Bullshit.. No one can finance all those lps.. Remember rae said he was droppin 3 albums in 2010.. People say shit like this all the time and rareley deliver.. Currensy did 2 in a year but they were poorly promoted and under shipped..

Lol Spitta still sold more than Soulja Boy though with Pilot Talk 2. Plus Pilot Talk 1 and 2 were both dope albums.
@word.. Yeah they were both good albums(i think1 was a lil better).. But my point was that every year we have an artist sayin next year im gonna drop 4 albums and were lucky if we even get one thats decent..

Pete rock has been producing for over 2 decades, I think its safe to assume he has beats for days. And who said he was gonna rap on all the albums? He’s doin beats for jay and nas, I bet he’s gonna release some ill ass colab albums and compilations

Sure, he has lots of classic beats, and The Main Ingreadent was pretty good. But other than that name one classic album he has done. Preemo has at least 5.
Id take one new solid Pete Rock & Cl Smooth Album over 5 anyday.
