look at these fuckin dweebs. I never liked the Roots even when they made semi-decent tunes in the 90s. Now they play interludes for Jimmy Fallon on the worst, lowest rated late night show on TV. like someone already said…they are COONS. Fuck Black Thought and YES I AM HATING =)

To all who are hating…… GET A LIFE! How can you say they are selling out or performing acts of coonery because they are singing a Nat King Cole version of a Christmas song? Oh, I get it… if you sing and rap, you’re selling out, right? So Lauryn Hill was a sellout, right? And it’s coonery because they are on Jimmy Fallon’s show? So, everyone who performs on a late night show (who is a rapper) is selling out? I guess Outkast, Talib, Mos Def and everybody else are all sell outs. Never mind the fact that they are still creating music with messages, like their entire ‘How I Got Over’ album. Never mind the fact they still tour like crazy even though they are on this show every night. If anybody else did that, they would be called hustlers and great entertainers, but people say they have sold out. In the words of Chad Ochocinco “Child Please.” I’ll end this just like a started it, to the people who are hating….. GET A LIFE!

hey, im the “coon” responsible for that performance and if some of yall cant get wit it ….fuggit. but dont try to play me like im not supposed to grow as an artist. lol im 38 friggin years old and yall dickheads expect me to be at the same place i was when i was 18? when i was 18 i was on what these chumps are on now… 20 yrs later! im a reeeal modest dude but im also well aware of what im dealing with talent wise. im a lyrical genius and all around PROFESSIONAL vocalist and one of the best emcees to ever touch a mic….ever. dead or alive. that being said, ima definitely get these checks. by crook, hook or book. and ima put my all into every endeavor. now, when u find another “rapper” capable of doing what i do …one who can sing a credible rendition of a jazz standard then kill every mc in existence in the next breath..get at me. til then stfu. lmao, a sell out in 2012. wtf is that? is the grammy nominated album “how i got over” a sell out? how about the 5 grammy nominated album “wake up”. … thats actually what yall idiots need to do… wake up. who else has ever been a houseband for a talk show 5 nights a week annnd a touring, fully functional 6 grammy nominated band at the same time? not to mention every memeber of the roots has side bands, questlove and i have separate book deals, im in 4 films about to hit theatres and 1 in theatres as we speak. etc etc etc. we ARE hip hop. we ARE entertainment. we the mufuggin blue print kid ….and the hardest working band in show business. eat a dick.
