Number four should’ve been number one to me. A lot was riding on Big Boi. Could he successfully deliver an album without his partner-in-rhyme, Andre 3000? Turns out he can, with this solo debut, Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son Of Chico Dusty. Big Boi sets the tone with the ubercool ,”Feel Me” and “Daddy Fat Stax.” From there, the funk hits the fan and Sir Left Foot unleashes a synchronized flurry with “Shutterbug”, “General Patton”, “Tangerine”, “You Ain’t No DJ”, and “Hustle Blood”. Meanwhile, co-stars like Gucci Mane, Too $hort, and B.o.B, live up to their roles on “Shine Blockas”, “Fo Yo Sorrows”, and “Night Night” respectively. Who needs 3 Stacks? Antwan’s a big boi now.

it was better than i expected. im glad he is getting accolades he deserve, but within the next few years i do want that Outkast album and a 3 stacks solo. this was a dope ass appetizer tho

Great album right here, Recovery was great too and I understand the acclaim that MBDTF garnered as well. Teflon Don on the other hand was good, production wise anyway, but I think people overrating it just because everyone wanna hop on the Ross bandwagon now. Teflon Don with its 11 songs shouldnt be near MBDTF or Big Boi album if you ask me, but sales must be factored in as well so…Big Boi flopped hard as shit so I understand somewhat.
But nah, I would have Teflon Don under TML, HIGO, RPM…etc etc but its gauranteed the Top 3 spot now sooo. Thats just my opinion

And im not saying Telfon Don wasnt as good because it had 11 songs. But if you have 11 songs on your album tjay leaves little room for error and i feel like Mc Hammer was wack, same with Super Fly, Not a Star, and All the money in the world. All songs I didnt care for but thats just me.
But once again, THIS ALBUM WAS NEAR PERFECT minus Back Up Plan so its my number 1, maybe 2

mad props and RESPECT to YN and the whole crew at RR for givin Sir Lucious the 4th place at this great internet-twirling BEST-list-event of the year. i listen to MBDTF and Flockaveli too, but nobody can rhyme SO NATURAL as Big BOi Antwan does… his voice IS the musical instrument to me.

I’m sorry but this was BY FAR the album of the year. It had a variety of amazing beats and unreal flow and lyrics. Big Boi proves on this album that Outkast can’t be touched, even without 3 Stacks.
This would of been my number one..
