Im just gonna copy/paste my comment from the last Lupe post, since it looks like most of the same retards showed up.
Any real Lupe fan knows exactly what position hes in. Atlantic was allowed to pick some of the production on his album, as long as Lupe was allowed to retain lyrical control and album direction, and then he threw it back in their face with “Words I Never Said”. Essentially, Atlantic tried to force his stuff onto the radio and he responded by making it into a song that would never in a million years get a lot of spins. Hes winding this Atlantic contract down,beating the record companies at their own game, and STILL putting together a hell of an album. Am I more excited for after Atlantic, when Lupe has full creative control again? Hell yea. Is he selling out? HELL no, not even close.

syllables is coo’… but being lyrical doesnt always necessarily equate positivity. i mean, Em is a dope rapper.. probably the best technical rapper (in terms of rhymeschemes) i’ve ever heard… Relapse was a technical masterpiece.. but the content itself is ehhh… Lu touches political, yknow… positivity.. dont get me wrong, Em’s one of my fave rappers and I know he touches base on a lot of important issues and has those positive tracks too… but dude definitely spits a lot of BS. Lu’s just straight up positive.
