Now you see, that’s why our people don’t have anything. Because we don’t know how to go in places and act properly. On Saturday, the 5th annual DMV Awards 2011, which honors the DMV’s musical talent was cut short after numerous fights erupted at the ceremony. After the chaos, Wale responded to the fuckery. This shit saddens me. The only way the DMV music scene will ever be able to get it’s self off the ground is if we UNITE and distance ourselves from this ignorance, GOONery, and buffoonery. Everyone isn’t the same in the DMV I so happen to be a aspiring artist and songwriter and this is something I do not stand for, my music is inspiring.
We really have to do better as a whole and it’s not going to happen over night it takes time but most of all, it takes dedication and belief.

At first I thought to myself, “Why does the Department of Motor Vehicles have an awards show?” My DMV don’t look nothing like that. Google to the rescue. To be honest, I’d never heard the term DMV to describe that area before. Bad look if this is how I hear about it.
