Maybe Karen Civil knows something we don’t, but supposedly, Freddie Gibbs has signed to Young Jeezy’s Corporate Thugz Entertainment. This past weekend Gibbs was in Atlanta and posted the cryptic tweet, “Power move. Checkmate.” For now, it’s all hearsay until he say, but we’ll keep you posted.

well, Freddie G. was one of the few rappers who called Ross out for being a fraud….so Jezzy does make sum since, i think its a good look for Freddie G only if Snowman can make a decent comeback himself.

I dont know what to say about this rumor tho. I wanna see Gibbs win but I dont think CTE would be the perfect fit for him. Personally,I think hes doing just fine independently but I can understand an artist wanting to get their name put on a more major scale.
He also has alot of projects that are planned for this year(cold day in hell,baby face killa.devil’s palace) so i cant see all of that dropping while hes tied down with a major right now. Hopefully he just continues to do his OWN thing.

I wont decide whether Jeezy’s career is over or not until 103 drops. I know dat album is gonna bang hard as hell but will people fuk with it or not is the real question???? If they dont well…….U can say it may be a wrap. But remember,almost every artist with a long standing career has at least 1 flop. Album wise,jeezy is 3 for 3 so far so at least give him that.

I HOPE AND PRAY that its true. Freddie is a big talent and he needs to step up to a big label already to get heard. It’s true, you can only stay underground for so long. Freddie possesses the next level game and has BEEN ready to leave these minors behind. He just needs someone like Jeezy to help him do it. Unfortunately, money speaks louder than talent in the music industry, and making a connection like this is the only way it can be done.
I think itd be a good home for him since the lyrical content is similar to the rest of CTE….. A good home for Gibbs would be CTE or G Unit…. G Unit roster been the same for too long, 50, Banks, Yayo, Spider Loc, and the everlasting Mobb Deep affiliation tho not technically sign… I thing Freddie would fit right in wit the G Unit Boyz Str8 Gangsta
