New Music: Santigold x Karen O “Go”

Santigold: In this song, “GO” has a dual meaning. On one hand it’s a challenge, beckoning any would-be usurpers to come show and prove. On the other, it’s a call to myself to rise to the occasion. “Go” is a “fun” song. It’s playful, but like many of my songs, lyrically it was an opportunity for me to vent. It’s about the difficulties of holding onto what’s yours, everything from your ideas and energy, to your confidence.
Jigga’s URL got the jump to premiere Santigold’s new single featuring Karen O of the band, Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Don’t be surprised if this spawns a remix or two from your favorite rapper.
it’s like a combo of Nelly fertado and M.I.A. …. something I wouldn’t listen to if I didnt come to this site —- dope song, enjoyed the blurb explaining the meaning of the title – made me actually listen to the lyrics — respect to those that do what they love
