2. Lil B isn’t gay which is why the album title is significant, its about showing solidarity for an oppressed people. *Ahem* I think many of y’all must have forgotten that we had a civil rights movement in this country. Lil’B is on a mission to destroy misogyny and homophobia in rap.
3. Racism is still alive, we’ve come so far but It will persist in pockets of ignorance. Homophobia is in the same boat. You can’t be against racism and be homophobic, it makes you a hypocrite.
4. Huey P. Newton wrote about how it was in the best interest of all oppressed people to unite, he wrote especially about GLBT and Black people. The bigger the alliance, the stronger the coalition.
5. Rap is about expression, however no-one is going to listen to you if they can easily write you off as misogynistic, homophobic or violent.
6. We need to elevate rap, to elevate our culture: racism, misogyny, homophobia and violence only seek to divide us. When we are divided we are weak, united we are strong.
7. We need to be strong to fight the corrupt powers that be from destroying the middle class in this country. They want infighting, THEY WANT US TO DESTROY OURSELVES.
Knowledge your damn self, don’t be a pawn in their game.

Rap music has not become diverse, its become “pop”. Russell Simmons sold out Rap and called Hip Hop to make it less street and more commercial for the “Industry” and to get paid off of an industry that he didn’t start but only made more commercial. (Getting paid must have been more important at the time). We allowed the “Industry” to phase Underground, Street, and poetic rap music out of existence. Just like we allowed them to remove Soul, Blues, and, Jazz out of our musical vocabulary we pretty much allowed them to remove “real rap” from the industry. Now, in order to get on the radio or to sell a CD you have to have 20 samples running in a song and 50 guest appearances on a CD and it has to sound like shit (oops) pop. Look at Snoop. He is doing tracks with Nickelodeon bands and Ludacris is doing tracks with Justin Bieber. You have top R&B and Rap radio stations playing that shit like its hot. What next??
