Last night, Jermaine stopped at The House Of Blues in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Right before he headed into his track “Before I’m Gone” he decided to recite a new verse for the audience. No idea where it’s from, but let’s hope we hear the final product very soon.
I was in the building, he put on a good show..never disappoints. Album will be a CLASSIC, Cole World

I think his album may be the best ‘true to the hip hop style’ album of the year, but i doubt he can win the grammy. Kanye got that shit wrapped up. But no doubt it will be a classic.

When i hear The Warm Up and Friday Night Lights, I swear those shits are already album quality. So im thinking his debut is gonna be a monster.
They gave Lauryn Hill a Grammy……. I think Cole got that classic hip-hop style as well, I think he can win a Grammy for sure.
Although I expect his album to have a ‘bigger’ feel to it. I’m kind of glad “Won’t Be Long” leaked, because while it’s good, it’s not ‘big’ enough for his album.

Cole already said that his album is STILL changing as time goes by, that it’s just getting better and better. Maybe if he released his shit June 2010, Who Dat would be on it, but 2011 with no release date in site? Nah I doubt it.

The reality is, his album was ready in 2010 when he wanted to drop. Cole just wants to sell hundreds of thousands/milliions of records and his buzz isn’t there yet, that’s why we don’t got an album.
He said his debut was perfect in 2010, I don’t give a fuck about sales, but he said he won’t drop unless he does over 250k, fuck that.
The fact that he put Drake on a song that’s catered to woman is just lame. Just shows how desperate he is for a buzz.
Instead he gives shitty left-overs and freestyles and compiles them in a mixtape to tide his fans over, when they already been bumping the shit for 6 months, the shit is lame.

Umm only reason Drake was on In The Morning is because Drake heard the song for the first time back when J. Cole went to Europe last year for his first time, so Drake sent J. Cole a text out of nowhere (Just like Talib sent a text to J. Cole so he can be on Just Begun, just like Kanye sent a text to J. Cole so he can be on Looking for Trouble, OUT OF NOWHERE) and asked cole to let him hop on the track because it was so good and he wanted to re-live it.
Therefor Drake was looking for J. Cole
Not J. Cole looking for Drake for a “desperate buzz”

The video was made because J. Cole realized the importance of visuals in regards to generating buzz. He regrets not making any for The Warm Up ( Even tho Lights Please has a video but its done only cuz it will be on his album. )
and yes he did it with a big name Drake but what was his words exactly ? If you were thinking to see me in a wifebeater and all sexy you’re wrong. Just because its a song for bitches he chose to show how it was like to tour overseas instead of doing the usual renting a club having half naked bitches dancing and showing money.
