Strange things are happening. Tech N9ne scored his highest chart position on the Billboard 200 with All 6’s & 7’s debuting at number 4. According to Soundscan, the disc sold 55,806 copies—independently. Congrats to the entire Strange Music camp.

Absolute Power in 2002 sold more than 313,000 copies (only celebrity feature was D12, without Eminem), Anghellic in 2002 sold about 280,000 copies (Roger Troutman was on it, but c’mon, does that really count to boost up sales?), Everready in 2006 sold around 200,000 (featured E-40… still doesn’t count), Killer in 2008 sold about 125,000 (has Paul Wall, Ice Cube, Scarface, Shawnna & Mista FAB… more features but less sales…??), then K.O.D. in 2009 sold around 120,000 (features Three 6 Mafia, that’s it)….. So that’s a lil history of a few of his albums in the past. This one will most probably outsell most of them. Hopefully all of them. But get your facts straight before you start saying that Lil Wayne is the reason why Tech is selling big and getting noticed. If you were on Tech’s official website even once in the past few months, you’ll notice it was straight up promotion. Tech N9ne is a marketing genius, get used to it motherfuckers.
