Gee Roberson Heading Geffen Records

Gee Roberson (pictured right) has been named the Chairman of Geffen Records. He and partner Kyambo “Hip Hop” Joshua (left) are co-founders of the Hip-Hop Since 1978 management firm. Clients consist of Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Drake and Lil Wayne.
In a statement, Interscope chief Jimmy Iovine said the following:
“Gee has a unique combination of talents that the music industry really needs running a record company today.”
Congrats GEE this is a good move for hip hop.
Congrats, now let’s see if he signs “real” hip-hop artists… with the great track record he’s had as a esteem manager

I only see him doing positive things for the culture over there. This is needed for hip-hop but even more so for Geffen cuz that imprint aint doin shit.
