Andrew states that Cocaine 80s is a collective consisting of No I.D., Common and many others. With no heads up, they have just released their The Pursuit EP. One of the songs is a new Common track with No I.D. on the production.

This shit is official to me. I’ve been listening and purchasing Common Sense for a while now. I am glad he’s back with NO ID. That guitar is crazy like Death Of Autotune (Jay Z) and Lyrics to Go (ATCQ). I just wish the bass was heavier. My 9 year old nephew will like this. He loves that 90’s shit. BROOKLYN!

A real amazing record from Common & No I.D. that’s a perfect summertime CHI track! Really love the guitar in the background & glad to see these 2 CHI-TOWN/Hip-Hop legends working together again as if they never lost a step with each other! Also I can’t think of what specific track but I know it can’t be just me that thinks part of the beginning sounds like 1 of Com’s other summertime records he previously released?
Thank God for Common. My man is keeping Hip Hop Alive.
