It’s been a good week for both Bey and Big Sean. After seven days, Beyoncé’s 4 tops the Billboard charts after moving 310,669 copies. Meanwhile, Big Sean’s Finally Famous takes the bronze medal with 87,331 units scanned. Congrats!

I remember someone saying Cole needs a big song like My Last to move units. Obviously not, cuz even still moved below 100k….which is unsuccessful in my opinion. Imean BoB moved 80k and still went Gold but thats cuz he had Airplanes and other songs throughout the year that helped carry him. Imean I enjoyed Big Seans album tho. This is pretty decent I guess….but all im saying is, Chris Brown or other RnB singers on your hooks wont gurantee you huge numbers like a Wiz or Drake. So dead that shit right now.

The Adventures of Bobby Ray sold about 90k the first week with Nothing On You & Airplanes. TML sold over 400k the first week with Over & Find Your Love neither of which were as big of singles. “My Last’ was still pretty big, it helped raise Sean’s profile to a lot of people, it was a big urban single, not quite a big crossover single though. Sean just needs to promote the hell out of it, and hope Marvin & Charddonay can blow up. And focus on bettering his album next time, and singles
