The folks over at Rap Basement was able to come up with this rare vintage clip of B.I.G. performing his classic track “Big Poppa” with Diddy and Lil’ Cease on Jon Stewart’s MTV talk show back in the mid-90s. Long live Big Poppa!
OH SHIT, MY COUSIN WAS JUST TALKIN’ ABOUT HOW THEY WAS RECRUITIN’ RANDOM PEOPLE OFF THE STREET TO FILL IN AS THE GUEST AUDIENCE FOR THE 1ST “JON STEWART” SHOW ON COMEDY CENTRAL IN NEW YORK!!!! THEY PICKED HIM AND HIS BOY!!!! THEM NIGGAS SAID JON STEWART IS MAD FUNNY!!!!
….R.I.P. BIGGIE SMALLS!!!!
DON’T HATE ON MY OPINION!!!!
big is like the otis redding of hip hop. it gets better each time you listen to it, and you are amaze by his talent.
We’ll always love Big Poppa.

Damn i was just working out to this album , gotta say it’s amazing how many lines these modern rappers stole from big
That’s actually the remix
If he was alive he would have haters. You’re Nobody Until Somebody Kills You.
BIGGIE WAS THE GREATEST RAPPER THAT EVER PICKED A MIC! HIS RHYTHMIC AND FLOW WAS CRAZY! HIS STORYTELLING WAS AMAZING!
R.I.P. THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G.!
NEW YORK WINS AGAIN!
WHERE ARE THEY NOW?
that was a terrible performance. big had his eyes closed the whole time and he kept turning his back on the audience. most of his “performance” is pacing back and forth. dude was a horrible live performer. contrast this with the energetic performance of someone like meth, red, or busta rhymes. you’d be better off listening to a big cd at home than watching this guy do what amounts to a sound check.

I wish this clip included Jon Stewarts intro and his post interview, just to give a comparative perspective of just how long ago, comparing Stewart from then to now since Biggie will always be preserved this way in our mind.
Classy performance.
RIP TO THE GOAT DAMN IM GLAD I GREW UP IN YOUR ERA
SORRY TO THE NEW GENERATION YOUR ERA SUCKS ASS
If you are a fan of B.I.G. like we are you can definitely appreciate all of the knowledge and positive words he gave on Sky’s The Limit. People tend to overlook his entire catalog and focus on a few songs – but there is no denying that “Sky’s The Limit” got a lot of people through some rough times. http://www.lyricalsurgeon.com/Notorious-B.I.G.-Skys-The-Limit-Life-After-Death.html
