Jeezy really was in BMF and knew Meech, Ross tried to bite off that. Gucci Mane would have never been shit had Jeezy not done “ICY”. Back when Jeezy dropped TM101 and Trap or Die he had the strrets on fire with his wit and ad-libs. His verse on “Dem Boyz” was the best and a good loo with the Puff push and then he did so icy. I actually remember when Jay signed Rick Ross and every one was like why is he signing another rapper who raps about coke when Jeezy already is on that tip and doing it the best, he opened the lane for Ross to even perpetuate that (false) persona. Trap rappers owe Jeezy. It’s very simple. Give the man the respect, just because Ross made hits after, and Gucci had shine at one point don’t mean they don’t have to pay homage.
