@Converse. U know they could’ve pick a better title for the album. I don’t think that title is going to stick. Im not a “outsider” lil homie. Im just tired of theses rappers doing certain things that are flat-out stupid thats all.
If you guys know about the Goodie M.O.B then you know the title we have another meaning than the obvious, kind of like Nas did with “NIGGER”. The mob has always been on a real socially consicious tip. I can tell these post are from younger cats who don’t know Goodie Mob music.
[…] Daaaaaaaaamn, man. It’s been seven long-ass years since Goodie Mob release their previous album, One Monkey Don’t Stop No Show. And since then, we have watched Cee-Lo Green — who wasn’t on One Monkey… — become absolutely huge through both his solo career and as part of Gnarls Barkley. Other members of the Mob took on side gigs, too, such as Khujo who joined forces with Jneiro Jarel to form Willie Isz. But now, we can just focus on what we have all been waiting for: a proper Goodie Mob album. The reunion record is called We Sell Drugs Too and is set to drop this fall. To say we can’t wait would be a massive understatement. [via] […]
Now if we can only get a new Outkast album as well.

Still Standing is one of my favorite albums ever. I feel slightly embarassed to admit I never heard Soul Food, though. Hopefully, this album has that classic sound.

Who gives a damn what the crackers think about us!!!! They don’t give a fuck what we think about them!!! Why black people always looking for approval from the majority race. We feel like we can’t do certain thing in the open unless it is accepted by them. We are afraid to speak our slang in front of them. Listen to our music in front of them. Funny thing is…they damn sure ain’t scared to speak it and listen to it in front of us.
Love the title of the album. Fuck what you heard!!!

The title is sarcasm…satire. It’s social commentary about all this “drug rap” that’s going on right now.
It’s a slap in the face to all these “me too” rappers.
Kids. SMH.
No one cares about this group. I want to hear organized noise beats tho so I might check it out. But fuck khu-jo’s leg.
