INCOMING TEXT FROM mac DIESAL AND IT READS:

“WALE YOUR NEXT ALBUM WILL GO DOUBLE WOOD JUST LIKE YOUR LAST ONE, YOU HAD LADY GAGA ON YOUR FIRST SINGLE OF YOUR LAST ALBUM AND IT STILL WENT DOUBLE WOOD!!!” ROZAY CANT SAVE YOU!!!

    ….HA!!!

“WE TYPE IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE THE CAPS LOCK BUTTON IN THE OFFICE COMPUTER IS STUCK”

DONT HATE ON ME OR MY BOSS’S OPINION!!! [ DONT HATE ON YN’S HAIRLINE EITHER ]

  2. Moe says:

    DOPE!!! “AMBITION” 11/1/11

  3. Respect to Ross for seeing the vision Wale has, this mixtape is ill, Wale is the most diverse artist next to Ludacris– looking forward to the album. Stop the stupid lady gaga talk, one feature on ur album doesn’t make it go platinum or have the world talking— the song wasn’t that good

  4. The Cold Death says:

    Wale is a fail.

    Where are they now?

  5. t says:

man this was dope. dont understand how ppl cant respect a man’s passion. its obvious in this video, and that was really cool to hear. wish i heard more of that beat he was about to play tho!

his mixtape is dope, and the underdog trak they played in the credits of this video is one of my faves, hitboy on the beat!

  6. robb maxx says:

    dmv makin moves.
    respect to wale
    look out for robb maxx

  7. Riles says:

Wale’s mixtape was pretty nice. This album’s gotta be better than attention deficit. I’m feelin’ it’s gonna be sickk.

  8. HipHopHead says:

Wale is an ok rapper. But the fact where he claims he’s from DC & he really not is where I lose respect for him as an artist

  9. Brucewayne says:

Ok Attention Deficit a good album musically. Why do people think cause a cd sells a lot that means it was good. Lupe album laser sold but it was his worst Cd musically! So Wale didn’t sell a million copies his first cd who does in todays non album buying society besides, Jay, Wayne, Kanye, and maybe a few more?

Do you listen to music or just hate to it! Imma retire hate and call it Unsolicited Bias.

  10. The Cold Death says:

    ^

Eminem sold more than Jay, Wayne, Kanye and a few more combined. Wayne is not hip hop, he’s more like a pop singer.

    Where are they now?

  11. Brucewayne says:

@hiphophead do you think him saying he is from DC has made any kind of difference in his career. Dc don’t have any Rappers that’s in the Game. So its not like saying you from the city will boost your buzz. That he ain’t from DC card is dead! He putting for DC Maryland and Virgina, would you rather him just put on for Maryland and Virgina, cause he could of and left DC in the cold with nothing but Pure lounge open Mics.

  12. Brucewayne says:

@Cold death. I did say a few more yes Eminem sold records. But like I said sells don’t mean quality, relapse sold but Eminem even called that joint trash.

  13. The Cold Death says:

    @ Brucewayne

Relapse wasn’t great, but wasn’t trash either. Eminem called that album trash, because he’s a maximalist.

    Is Wale quality?

    Where are they now?

  14. Your Friendly Neighborhood Dopeman says:

Wale bad records sales were mostly to due to the label. But who cares because it’s still a dope solid album.

  15. Brucewayne says:

@ColdDeath I’m a Em fan though. But to answer your question I think he puts out quality, and he’s versatile. From Mixtapes with 9wonder to tracks with Waka. Plus know one raps like him he has his own way of saying shit. I can’t lie sometimes I wish he wouldn’t rhyme like he just finished reading the dictionary and wanna teach us some new words but he’s has talent and ideas so that puts him above a lot of new artist that don’t have either. Plus I’m from Maryland so I catch all the hometown shit he be saying.

  16. Brucewayne says:

@colddeath I think Wale forces you to think harder when you listen. For example instead of say I’m walking down the street talking to a girl he will say something like, Globe trotting down the blvd Courting a bad model brawd. Wale is quality, I know sometimes it feels like he just read a dictionary and want to teach you the new word he learned but I would perfer that then him be predictably. Like i know 50cent gonna say Jake, Jook,Lama,or she seductive when I her him lls.

My bad on the grammar too, tryna RapRadar and drive

  19. SevenMile Guy says:

That Wasn’t Jay.. That Was Kanye In Homecoming…

  20. Jay Gregory says:

Undeniably, without a shadow of a doubt, Wale is a great rapper (artist). He’s DOPE. He has the ability to make simple tracks, songs. But you have to find it a little funny that not one person he started with is still with him. meaning team wise. not manager, promoter, best friend, all that. Im hometeam, and i agree with Lil G, he is the mainstreams DMV’s Great Hope. he was the one that put DMV music (rap) on a universal map. But character means so much more. thats what makes you a man! A respectable one at that. Everyone at home has no choice but to respect his ability, son is DOPE, His grind is crazy and he is putting niggas from home in a better place, ie: Board of Administration. but i cant name one person that is not in BOA or his immediate (Hometeam) circle, and i’m in it (the scene), that is saying I FUX WIT THAT NIGGA SOOO HARD, no one can vouch for his character. niggas like Phil-Ade, Tabi Bonney, Gerredi, Raheem De’Vaughn, XO, even Black Cobain, to name a few. People vouch for their character first. These are DMV A/B-listers. Wale would probably say, to my comment, “Yeah DMV A-Listers, Im above niggas..”
If You’re reading this; WALE, I hope your album does great. Imma cop 2 maybe even three copies for my nephews, they love your music bro and Imma support but i cant fade your character young!
niggas at home are not hating on your skills bro, their hating on your character. you said it yourself this city is REALITY DRIVEN, we cant rock with no fake shit. People like Big G, Rapper, Lil Bennie (RIP), Scooby, Yanna, Chuck Brown, Whiteboy, 32, Buggy, Jammin Jeff, Dig-Doug, etc. are some of the most respected musicians in our area because of who they were not because of what they did. 95% of America dont know who the fuck they are. But their legends in our city. Not for being gangsters, hustlers, etc, but becuase of WHO they ARE/ WERE. When lights fade youngin, you gonna be respected like one of them or you gonna continue to be “Boobie Miles.” I wanna see you succeed bro! i just dont wanna see you Bam OUT getting there. Its not hate, its love (No Homo)!

  21. TeamWale says:

@Brucewayne said it all… Hate is irrelevant to anything in my opinion, why muster up some energy to say something negative, don’t listen, cover your ears…

real recognize real I’m not the most positive person in the world.. but hate needs to cease and decease!

    Goodnight, Hate me now

  22. Uptown_dc says:

wale nor none of the cats in this video that hang with him are from the actual city of D.C. and its to obvious. Im from uptown, DC 4 real and can tell you first hand you never see none of these cats in the city unless they are escorted thru it. enough is a damn nough. Wale focus on ur music homie and stop making an ass of yourself with the city boy image. youre a surburban kid (raised almost an hour from dc) from a family that has bread behind. enough of the fucking antics homie. all u doing is lining yourself up to get knocked out at your next show from a cat thats really from the hoods you screaming out of your mouth. stop that peabody street talk in your interviews ive always lived 4 blocks from there and never seen you a day in my LIFE and no one around there knows you AT ALL. stop the faking…. make the music niggah!
