CONGRATS WEEZY… But the album SUCKED BABOON TITS!!!
Yes ALL record labels but THEIR OWN ALBUMS, its a know #FACT. They give it out @ industry events, listening parties, to interns, to radio stations and DJs, etc. -> They usually have a hole punched over the barcode so you cant bring it to the store for a return. I know because i use 2 intern @ Sony and i work on & off in the music industry…
P.S. If your saying WTT had Techno/ POP beats… you need 2 do research on your genres. Just because something is different than your regular Boom-Bat or 808 roll beats doesnt make it POP.

Yeah, the album wasn’t that good, but it sold. Just like Recovery.

But really, I’m wondering where all the Em stans are who claim album sales as the golden standard for GOAT…lol Wayne just did 135% of Recovery’s first week numbers. Repeat: 135%. Sooooooooooo…can we agree to stop it with that argument? Thanks.

Exactly, “numbers don’t lie”… Eminem – ALONE – sold more records than the whole Young Money crew last year (combined)… What did you say again?
As for Recovery, It currently stands at 4 million in the US,… which is some 300-400 thousand copies more than Carter 3,… which sold more than 1 mio in the US first week…
I’m not hating on this record (carter 4), it’s OK. But I’d still pick RED or Watch The Throne any day of the week before C4.
Sales doesn’t equal quality. Fact.

RR, I really wish you would add a “like” button or some such equivalent to your comment sections for individual comments, as well as making it possible to comment on the comments of others. This would make some of the debating a bit better by making it more organized and accessible.
Jeezy will do at least 150000 first week maybe more most his fans are grown men we got shit to do its easier just to stop and buy the album we don’t bootleg nuttin lol
