@blackshady you delusional for thinkin Cole gon get numbers like that (200 000), i ain’t gt nuttin against him, i like sime of hise verses but overall his album is a lil weird coz he trying to stick to his everyday man tales then he gotta make the radio songs that he doesn t really know how to make, his beats sound like they were made in his bedromm but wait THAT S CAUSE THEY WERE ACTUALLY MADE IN HIS BEDROOM, he needs to cut that shit and get some better beatmakers, Kanye was a MUCH better beatmaker when he dropped college dropout, don’t get me wrong there’s some good songs but it ain’t cohesive, he really tryna get those college girls to buy it the references to them are numerous, he also lacks charisma… BUT IT S BETTER THAN CATER 4!

As for Ray J, he shouldn’t have gone on the radio. He kind of played himself by doing that. People kind of already thought he was a clown and he didn’t do himself any favors. Not to mention that Fab is witty and can come back looking better REGARDLESS of what actually went down.

Wtf did I tell u. He made a good album actully a really good album and I fucking hate J. Cole. But he could of did without his song he tried to make for radio they haven’t even pick up for him the only one that good i Can’t Get Enough. In The Moring does not fit at all on the album. It sometimes feels boring. He should of stuck to trying to make Illmatic or College Dropout instead of trying to make this Blueprint 3/Watch The Throne shit.
@Africanboy: Everyone is entitled to their opinions and I respect yours but I have to disagree on one thing…This album in today’s hip-hop world where everyone is using the same beats, same concepts and meaningless music, it’s fucking refreshing hearing those beats that J. Cole produced. You can’t tell me you wasn’t flipping out when you hear D&D3, God’s Gift, Rise & Shine, etc? His song-writing skills need to get better cause his story-telling and his super-lyrical tracks are beyond any new rapper out (with extremely few exceptions). I ain’t calling it classic yet, but definitely the best album we gon hear all year. Im buying this record, well worth it bruh.
Whoever thinks J. Cole is going to sell 200000 the first belongs on a short yellow bus with a helmet. He will never be a mainstream star. Underground yes but he won’t even do 80k first week.

Cole isn’t gonna put up huge numbers, but I hope he does, and I’m definitely gonna be picking one up (maybe a few, I’m sure I’ll be giving some out for Xmas). The album is fucking amazing, and I wasn’t expecting much after the build up.

@Black Shady, not all of em are hot, listent to the drums, they don’t sound proper to me, sounds amteur-ish, i’m sorry , he obviously inspired by Kanye on the beatmaking tip and well he win’t fuckin with Kanye beats when he was his age, he made beats in his bedromm like “the truth” from Beanie Sigel, i know my history, J.
