Also weak Doug E. Fresh, The Roots, & weak ass MC lyte dis a show there in 2009. Its a good look but sorry Hov your late on making history this time.

So S/O to Mos Def for being the FIRST hip-hop artist to headline Carnigue Hall. Also everybody made a big deal back in 2003 when Jay-Z did a concert at Madison Square Garden when Run DMC the FIRST hip-hop act to headline Madison Square Garden backin 1986. Hov get credit for too much shit. But he a legend so it whatever. Congrats.

@RICKY RETARDO You Right. Afrika Bambaata and Grandmaster Melle Mel was the first offical hip-hop artist to perform at Carneguie Hall in 1985. That was b4 my time. But thats what I’m saying if the first hip-hop act to peform there was 26 years ago why is Jay-Z making headline as the first. Next there gonna say Jay-Z created hip-hop.

Epic Fail on Jay-Z part. He always thinks he is the pioneer of shit and young niggas that don’t any better will believe it. I challenge Jay-Z to make his next album with out any concepts and production from Kanye and No I.D. He need worship Kanye because he keeping him relevant.
