Following yesterday’s Carnegie Hall press conference, Jay told MTV that he and Kanye may release another album together next year. Time to zone out!
“It depends on how this thing finishes up,” Jay said in reference to his and Kanye’s current Watch the Throne Tour. “We — I say ‘we’ because I’m in Throne mode — we’re in a great place creatively. You might see a Jay, then Kanye and a Throne album next year. You know, we’re really in a great place creatively. We really found our zone.”
Dope
a true Blessing if that happens
NIGGAS IN PARIS 2 #CRAY
If next Jay-Z album executive produced by Gayne West -> won’t buy it
HOLY SHIT! That would be epic!
UH OH!!! GFID will still be the album of the year tho
Yes!!!!!!

Can’t wait!
That shit cray!!! *Ye voice*
is it me or does anyone else think that ye limits jay’s control sometimes, i mean like any beat that they receive from someone else has to be touched up by ye for example ‘new day’. he couldnt just let rza’s beat breathe…
This is good news, he said something that matters “we’re in a great place[,] creatively…..we really found our zone.”

It’s not like he (or they’re) just making an album off GP.
As much as this would be cool for hip hop, I doubt that it’s gonna happen

awww Jay can’t make a decent album on his own anymore
Fuck that. Hov needs to get back in the lab with Just Blaze.
“Niggas Still In Paris” lol

cosign @ dumb niggas
I feel like you can hear just about every time Kanye added something to a beat on WTT, and it almost never worked well (see: second half of Who Gon Stop Me). Not to mention, that off-key singing Ye has been doing lately? Instant song killer. I still haven’t been able to get past that shit on Illest Motherfucker Alive.
2012 gonna be crazy… cant wait for these albums.
[…] Props: RR […]
Jay-Z is the first mougal to be run by his artist creativly. Jay-Z can’t make a album without production and concepts from Kanye and No I.D.
Wow!..but aint J gonna b a new pops nxt year??…that might curb some of that work..
in my zoneee… lol! Jay a funny dude when he wants 2 be!
love you hov but that’s not happening

@Music if You liked Blueprint 3 you’re fucking stupid. It was executively produced by Kanye West. and Blueprint 1 had 5 Ye tracks stfu
The guy is around since 88-90, quite normal for him to try the tag team, he tried in the past with no real success (Murder Inc, Original flavor, RKelly…) so it’s not his first shot.
Being solo you dream about having a relevant crew and being in a group you want the opposite.
Good for him though, how many MCs will be successful as he is at 42 y-o?????
that is crayz ze
Ummmmm negative comments …….. OVER A MILLION SOLD, I THINK THAT SPEAKS FOR IT SELF LOL
Lets take it back to the soulful samples tho….
^^ Word watch the throne was classic but they shud dumb down the complexity of the production just a bit. 2 albums of that caliber to close together might be overkill
Can’t wait for this
@Sincere I honestly think they should continue that type of complexity for the next Throne album, now as for their next SOLO projects (especially Jay’s) i think they should dumb down the production a bit, I wouldn’t mind hearing another ‘American Gangster’ from jay, or maybe another ‘Black Album’ type of record, but of course, its a new day and time now, so everything aint gonna be the same as in the past, thats not how jay-z or kanye work, they always take their art to higher levels….
Jay having a kid. That’s shit makes you hungry. When I had my first kid, I went out and got a second job working for racist arabs at a gas station 7pm-7am. I feel it.
Is the Based God gonna drop an album or what?
At John I totally agree. Not many but if they do it’s cause Jay paved the way. I always thought Rakim, Kane, LL, Kool G and KRS would be holding hiphop down forever. I respect my legends but Jay is actually the first to do that.
At Donn, I totally agree
Snoop Dogg is the first to do that
@MP5… I dont think has the same monetary pressures as you though…
I would like to see more videos for WTT. Sucks that the only video so far is for a song thats technically not on the album.
lol Jay wit that ole dry ass humor. Nugga really old tho. Like, you can see it now. I definitely agree with what him and Ye doing tho. And I agree, they def then carved a new lil lane in their careers. They did some innovative ass flows/hooks/ideas on WTT in my opinion.
Why would “Otis” technically not be on the album?
One is enough. two would be overkill.
What a mistake. Jay and West are tainting their legacy. Hurts to “watch…the throne.”
