@Mind-T…..You’re wrong, Encore was meh because too many bad songs were in the middle of a few good ones.
Relapse was a near classic album, you just have to listen to the lyrics, get over the accent. Crack A Bottle, Medicine Ball and Hello ruined a nearly perfect album.
The only problem with Recovery was the production (worst production ever) and Em’s delivery which are major things in rap. But then again, listen to the lyrics, their good.
Only problem with people like you is that they’re stuck in the past, every legendary rapper from the 90’s has fallen off, even Nas. Like you said, nothing lasts forever, Jay has turned into a “swagger” rapper because he knows he can’t do what he used to.
All in all, with all the shit Em’s been through, he’s the best rapper ever.
You just have to accept the fact that he’s as witty as he used to.
@mind t i agree with the person below ur post. I love tbat encore. Tells a good story. At least an entertaining one. And yeah recovery had as much quality production as a good mixtape. Doesnt really go together. But i think em meant for it to go as mainstream and generic as it did.
