News
Common called the Yellowest Nigga Alive this evening on his Keep It Thoro show. He spoke on cracking our top three Best Albums list, Drake and Serena Williams.
Wow can this nigga be more hungry for attention? Ur turning 40 Lonnie.. grow up and get over the fact Drizzy smashed ur ex Serena.
We all know OG > Degrassi.
Thanks for calling Com. Your the man.
tell common.. shut it up!!!
…
Apple just laid off 2,000 people & to give back they are giving away iPads http://t.co/DXZGAVe next 24hrs only
Dude getting salty at Drake for smashed Serena lmao too bad this whole beef is gonna blow off soon. Drake ain’t gonna respond and Common is gonna be right back in the gutter. BwawawawawA. ….. Take Care
LMAO is that guys Beats heaphones, broken??
If anything Drake called himself out, he knows he’s a soft ass muthafucka’ who makes music for females and pre-pubescent teens, not to mention closet gays who roll around town bumpin, “The Best I Eva Had” swearing like they hard as hell. Y’all can’t be serious.
Do you even see what’s going on tho? Now every single interview Common has will have Drake’s name in it. All that time that should be dedicated to him will be spent talking about another nigga. Common you played yourself
[…] RR on […]
Back to the gutter? Common has more
Money than drake. What gutter? 35 million ain’t good enough for you lil homie?
That’s what commons worth. And soon to be more the guy got movie money and rap money.

Co sign @Loaded… Every interview will be good press for Drake everytime his name comes up as for Common this beef isn’t helping his sales one bit, so thanks for name dropping Lonnie. Drake laughing at you for playing yourself.
Com is a real MC. Drake is alright but he’ll be yesterday’s news along with Rick Ross, Wale, and the rest of those MMG herbs. Deal with it.

who the fuck is checking for common…SERIOUSLY….nigga just trying to get some publicity from drakes name…and this is from a YMCMB hater
Cosign @Loaded and Hip-Hop Fiend…………Common is lying his bald head off in these interviews talking about Sweet wasn’t a Drake diss, but turns around and says if the shoe fits it’s for Drake. That’s a bitch move. We all know he was going at Drake all along. “Don’t be ducking like you never wanted nothin”. He even released the Sweet Video, on Nov 14th, a day before Drake’s album dropped. C’mon Common, you’re supposed to be a legend, stop lying and man up. We know he jealous bout Serena too, he practically admitted it here. This beef is whack,”nowadays niggas reach just to sell records”.
Drake has a mixtape coming out wid Ross, so we can expect a reply from Drizzy there. Would be exciting if he replied while everyone’s still talking tho.
LOVE COMMON

MAN! F*CK DRAKE!
I LIKE LISTENING TO HARD N!GGAZ!! CAUSE THEY MAKE MY D*CK HARD!
I LOVE THUG N!GGAZ VOICES THEY MAKE ME MOIST!
WHEN I WAS LOCKED UP IN 96′ HIP-HOP SAVED MY LIFE! I GOT MY NUT OFF EVERY NIGHT LISTENING TO THAT GANGSTA RAP!
Common came straight with his. He aint ducking nothing, aint hiding nothing and is owning his words. I like his style. Elliott contacted HIM to talk and he answered all the questions straight up cause he’s a man.
Much respect to Common. I salute that brotha & he dead right about Drake “I’ll threaten to beat a tattoo artist then when he accepts the challenge I’ll call my security on you” Graham. He a hiding azz wannabe goon bitch.
If Drake responds, then it’s on. Otherwise Common’s done. He replied and that’s that.
Why is EVERYBODY all worked about him dissin’ the other dude? What you aren’t suppose to go at someone in HIP-HOP.

@ YN
Chill……RAPPERS don’t sing.
[…] means he’s ready to respond at anytime Drake does? Earlier tonight, Common phoned in to Elliott Wilson’s time slot on EVR Radio to continue the conversation regarding Drizzy. According to Common, […]
Wow. The comments just shows that these new Hip Hop listeners know NOTHING about Hip Hop
You young fucks dont understand its, not about sales
Every interview Common has will be about Drake
LOL^^^ True

@Realniggashit
Even if it ain’t about sales, why can’t Common just make the music he makes? Why go at drake JUST around the exact same time his album is coming out? Because Common wants high sales…dumbass.
Y’all niggas extra stupid…I like commons music but I still think drake has way more potential then common..niggas 59 hating on a young nigga smh..
Its disappointing how people can appreciate a good beef that’s strictly music. People ask for music beef, but when one happens they want it to stop. smh
Common never called out drake.
By Drake feeling offended by “sweet” he basically dissed himself and called himself sweet. So Common did what hip hop is all about, Battle. Go back and listen to all the greats, Rakim, Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane etc. Guess what their rhymes were….Battle raps!!!
I believe that Common album surpassed what i expected of him, and i’ll come out and say that it was better than Drake album hands down…
-@BigC790
Common is a hypocrite, did he not narrate and co sign cudi on his first album? if drake is sweet than so is cudi. is it a surprise common has a new album out and decides to speak on drake now? the game changes, either move with it or get left behind old man, an old man beefing with a 20 something guy who is selling well and banging broads, its pathetic. the great thing about music is that its so diverse, remember that common, your lyrics arnt even good enough for an interesting beef
Common craps all over Drake as a lyricist and it’s beyond age because Common’s earlier works are better than anything Drake’s put out .Drake just aint got it like that lyrically. He’s not a true MC so he has to sing-rap to create a lane for himself. If Drake just gave straight bars he never would’ve made it. That’s just fact.
Drake is OK but he is shallow and doesn’t have much to say.
Never bought a Common or Drake album but best believe I’m rolling with Com cause he has tunes I like. Drake I never liked. Besides the track Drake wrote for A.Keys
Btw Commons SWEET go hard especially the video
@ AAA
Exactly.
Hip hop fans are lost and need to expand their knowledge of an artist’s accomplishments beyond what the alledged earnings reported by the Hip Hop Forbes list reveals. Common’s career has given him both fame and fortune through music and acting.
C’mon YN, seems to me you are on Drakes’s dick. Did you forget hip hop ain’t about singing?

@justmyopinion a ton of rappers sing, biggie sang sometimes, so did pac, em does a little bit. bone thugs sang in every song. that late 80’s early 90’s style was pretty much all singing. rapping is a form or singing in general. you don’t use your monotone talking voice to rap, you add style to your voice and the way you enunciate and pronounce words changes. hence why even the best writers can’t rap for shit sometimes, and why sometimes rappers like dr. dre can’t write their own shit. he has the style but not the poetic mind for writing….all genres of music that involve voice are just different singing styles over different types of instrumentals.
