Blacks are the only race that hates on themselves. It’s only entertainment. Enjoy it and move on. Hating on Rick Ross is lame, ’cause it ain’t that serious.

  20. FetusFace says:

  25. ‘The New Yorker’ Calls Rick Ross A Con Man —–The New Yorker, one of the most highbrow magazine you can ever read, posted a profile on Rick Ross titled The Sound Of Success. It’s subheading, “Rick Ross’s Confidence Game,” reveals the gist of the story; Rozay’s drug dealing past is questionable, but he’s conned listeners into glossing over that fact.

Pop music critic Sasha Frere-Jones writes, “Ross has become a respected rapper by depicting the life style of a boss, or a don, two words that he loves. He never cares to unpack the morals of the drug trade—what he revels in is the security and relief of being fabulously wealthy. This is what his voice sells, the way Sinatra once sold an implacable but supple kind of confidence.”

eminem is the fraud.but no1 talks about it.smh.

  28. WRITTER says:

It’s almost as if the loss of authenticity has freed him to push the Rick Ross character to its utmost extreme.
He’s hustling those who believe in his overt persona by convincing them that he’s a drug dealer. He’s also hustling those who recognize his phoniness.

  29. Joe Isuzu says:

Y’all niggaz is too caught up on rappers that “keep it real” and can sell units. Ross is that dude that reps our present day urban rap culture. His mix tape is out selling and probably the most downloaded at this present moment. Y’all go back and look at the history of records he’s dropped and name a wack joint that y’all haven’t rocked out to in the club? The last of the “real” rappers that really repped what they talk about imo is Jay-Z and rappers til this day still praise the god for all the moves he’s made. Not every rapper will be on that level. Y’all need to fall back and let good music be good music and wave off. Trill rap!

  31. j/y h/h says:

Whether he’s authentic or not, the nigga stay winning. Most of the cats yelling that he ain’t real, probably ain’t never sold drugs themselves and probably stay behind their keyboards. Bunch of internet gangsters. Ross not only makes good music, but he also makes good business decisions. Besides, the whole CO thing is getting old. Nigga was working a job. People act like there haven’t been mad crooked cops and CO’s in prison. How you think crime in jail goes down on the level that it does if CO’s ain’t in on it. A lot of them nigga’s is mobbed up too. A lot of yall throw “CO” around, because it’s just something to say.

  33. Delic says:

as someone above said… explain how he makes good music?
it makes me wonder what you look for in good music.

this nigga’s song introduction can last up to a fkin minute repeating the same hook, stretching the song out as much as possible kuz he ain’t really got shit to say.
