Off Monica’s New Life which drops April 10, Monica and Brandy take matters into their own hands with their new video, directed by Chris Robinson. So much for a prenup.
The video was predictable. The song is dope, both Brandy and Monica did their thing but the thing that bothers me is that Brandy just isn’t believable. Its like she’s acting, and I want to see more feeling. Feel the music. The thing that makes Mary J Blige and what made Whitney Houston so believable was you could tell they were feeling the music deep inside their soul. Not just mouthing the lyrics that Rico Love wrote for them. Feel the music and give me some passion is all I’m saying.
