Directed by Ice-T, we follow him from coast to coast on a journey to explore the roots of Hip-Hop staring some of rap’s finest including Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kanye, Nas and more. In selected theaters on June 15.
unfortunate, that they focus on how you have to say something with dignity.

Dag, he carried the mess outta homie at the end of the trailer, lol
UGH, too many rap documentaries. There should be one like metal evolution on VH1, dissecting the different styles of rap. From the native tounges movement to crack rap, etc…
“keep it moving pimpin” LOLLL
Go somewhere else with that bullshit. Maybe Ice never came to him? Or schedule conflicts? Who knows why! Also when has he ever used a Pac line or Nas’ (he sampled two different songs for hooks, that’s not biting) Why is it even a crime that he used Big’s line? A lot of rappers, if not all, have done it (including Big). Get over it, it doesn’t change Jay’s legacy and what he’s done in rap and for rap.
good to see that no one from ymcm are on here.
keepin it real authentic!
“Get them suckas off the stage, you wack !”
i saw this at a screening in hollywood. i was really looking forward to it and was extremely disappointed. it was boring and over-long. the rappers don’t even talk about their process.
REAL. AS. FUCK.
THIS IS THE DOCUMENTARY OF THE YEAR! THIS IS REAL NIGGA SHIT! IT GOES HARD!
P.S. NO LIL WAYNE AND NEW SCHOOL! THANK YOU, ICE-T! GET THEM SUCKAS OFF THE STAGE, YOU WACK!
WHERE ARE THEY NOW?
