When it comes to southern hospitality, K.R.I.T. sure got us. And for his latest motion picture, he invites us to his hometown of Meridian, Mississippi. Live From The Underground drops June 5.
If you like hip-hop, you might like my blog, Rhymes and Reasons. It’s a series of interviews with hip-hop heads who discuss their lives and a few songs that matter to them. Pretty powerful stuff. Check’em out here:

Nice song, the video is aight tho…
Song sounds the same as all this dude’s shit. And what’s with motherfuckers uploading low-res videos these days?! Shit looks budget.
Looks low budget because he doesn’t have a budget. Record companys dont give budgets anymore for new artists. Besides that he has given us 3 dope mixtapes with out making any money off that. I am buying the album just for the fact that he gave me three classic albums for my ipod for free.
They used a vintage filter on the camera to make it look old school thats why it looks low budget.. thats his style
I hope they release an explicit version for the video. It doesn’t sound right if I don’t hear
FUCK THESE HATERS AND FUCK THESE HOES!
FUCK THESE HATERS AND FUCK THESE HOES!
Duke just ain’t it, in my opinion. He looks average and sounds average.
He has the Stat Quo, Joe Buddens and like 3 other decent rappers like that.
And I say decent because they can all actually rap but there is NOTHING compelling about them to me. Nothing that will make me go back and listen to their programs again to dig through the context and see if they’re saying anything of note – Budden is the exception but still overall boring to me at least….
@MegaMind
I think it depends on what one finds compelling- brilliant music and soulful lyrics are what I like but if you want technical ability, that’s cool.
I’m also a big Joe Budden fan.
I think his album is going to be a big deal and will hopefully change your mind!
This not rap these COUNTRY RAP TUNES biiitttccchhhh, fuck yall
