  8. Carlito says:

i’m very anxious to hear what’s he’s cooking up. just PLEASE stay away from that ‘recovery’ sound. and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE no more wayne collabs.

  9. KoldCase says:

    Thank GOD

    and recovery was great

  10. G.O.O.D.BoySwag says:

@google me, you’re an idiot. You just made a comparison between one of the greatest of all time and a guy that sounds like he’s getting raped in the pooper on every track. Eminem>>>>>than your whole existence

  11. The Association of Chronos says:

I just want to know what direction he is taking for the next album. Its a, nervous yet exciting thing because, it’s like okay. We got the concepts behind “Relapse” and “Recovery”. But now, where do you go from here?

This is going to be the first (Mainstream) Eminem album that has no Drama behind it at all. Every album had something behind it to push the Product forward. Tie that in to what I said early about what direction to take. What is he going to Rap about? Whats the concept? etc

But, that’s a LONG way from now. Maybe, VERY LATE 2012, or most likely Summer 2013. Can’t wait

  12. gof says:

    heeeeeeeeell yeah (dre voice)

  13. Black Shady says:

  15. Mike says:

Fuck outta here mac diesel. u probably dont even buy albums. witcha old ass

  16. ITSDman says:

i think this album will be alot more slim shady

  17. pat says:

you guys are fucking stupid. I am not going to sit on here and say much about it but i have been an eminem fan since day one. And when you look at his body of work i dont know how anyone can say that his old shit was better. Dont get me wrong the first 3 albums were classics but as far as rapping compound words and syllables relapse and recovery and bad meets evil were lyrically better than his older stuff. I mean really go back and listen to the first 3 albums. He killed it yeah not going to argue that but when you listen to a few tracks from the old stuff and then you listen to a few tracks from the newer stuff you can hear that he is rapping better. I dont know about all this emo talk either. And as far as the colabs with wayne i personally like them. The guy is not 20 years old anymore and he grew up and now raps about different life experiences. Maybe its because i am not 20 years old anymore either but recovery was fucking dope. at the end of the day it does not matter what i say in here because haters are gonna hate but in 10 years or so i promise people will be like dam his first albums were tight but then recovery was real tight. And to say he was better on drugs is retarded. A human brain works way better clean then it does on drugs. Thats like saying michael jordan would have been better if he drank vodka before playing. Anyway haters keep hating because it fuels eminem to keep proving you wrong. Look foward to the next solo em album!!

  18. Word says:

I am not concerned about the concepts as much as im concerned about which Eminem will show up. Eminem sounds different on every album ive heard from him. SSLP MMLP and TES were all great, he went somewhere different with Encore, Relapse grew on me after these years, and Recovery was great on first few listens but I only listen to a few of the songs on it now (Dont think Seduction will ever get old).

I just want to know what his flow is gonna be like, and PLEASE stay away from the corny lines about whoppers and mcdonalds. I swear the verse will be going great then he’ll just say something about a burger king meal or something and then i’ll cringe.

Eminem still my favorite rapper of all time, just want dude to put out quality joints and not worry about maintaining his legacy as a sales giant. I think hes actually concerned about that now. Why else would he feel the NEED to have a Love the Way you Lie, or Lighters type track. Just lemme get something along the lines of TES and im good! Not too dark like Relapse but not butterflies and fairy dust like Recovery.

  19. Jager says:

im so fucking ready for new em

  20. Sweetre15 says:

I personally think an album where he brings his three personas (Eminem, Marshall and Shady) and make them all come full circle would be an interesting album concept if done right.

  21. dopeaom says:

@pat you obviously haven’t heard Infinite, his album before all his albums, That’s the most lyrical Eminem this world has ever seen. After that there were great joints culminating in Relapse as his best of the last 4 (including Bad Meets Evil).
But be real, his music on Relapse and Hell The Sequel is not on the level of early stuff, his lyrics sound unfocused and forced, and the same can be said about the flow. There are still great tracks and verses but overall, it’s not his best work and in 10 years people will still look back and praise his earlier work while only skimming trough Recovery and Hell The Sequel.

Let’s hope this next one comes straight from his ill mind and not be just another album. I feel it might be really good since he’s paused his movie for this and also has finished the his ”comeback” so he can really focus on just being himself.

  22. ITSDman says:

its should be a concept about snorting coke off the anus of a panda

  23. pat says:

@word, you cant have your cake and eat it too. eminem puts a little bit of everything on his albums to please all the fans. He goes hard on a few tracks, he puts out some tracks for the radio with collabs like rihanna and he goes silly sometimes. There is no way for him to please everyone so you just have to take it for what it is. You need to appreciate the lyrics and the rhyming more than what he is rapping about. he can rap about cheeseburgers and shit and its still good. I get that you dont like that when he does it but some people do. so it would not be fair to the people that like when he goes silly to not put some of that on the album. i dont like how people want one kind of eminem or another. Just like him or dont like him. And you cant say that he did not go hard on recovery, no love was prbl the hardest he ever went, well rabbit run and the way i am and till i collapse are comparable but still. Anyway i look foward to the next em album no matter whats on it because i know it will be 10 times better than all these other shitty rappers. I mean i come on this site hoping for good rap music and time and time again i am disappointed.

  24. pat says:

@dopeaom of course i have heard infinite. But lets be real. Saying infinite was his best is like saying michael jordans best season was his first one or two seasons. People hone their craft further in their career. I am not going to argue with you because i respect your opinion but imo recovery was his best lyrical album to date. Along with bad meets evil. Look forward to the next album too.

  25. jt3000 says:

I want a hip hop album by eminem lets get some scratching on the beats and a nas and jay z feat.

  26. Ivy blue Hov says:

@pat a counter to your michael jordan analogy could be nas’ illmatic and hov’s reasonable doubt. Both classic debuts.

  27. Word says:

@Pat I definitely understand that. Actually, Bad Meets Evil was the best project I heard from Em in a while. I enjoyed all the tracks, including Lighters, though it seemed otu of place. But if he can put out an album that sounds like Hell The Sequel, with a single like FastLane thas just all him? I would be satisfied. Some of his flows on that EP were the best from him in YEARS. Pariticulalry The Reunion, Kiss, and Welcome 2 Hell. Living Proof was the closest to the old Em I seen.

  28. real pap says:

with all due respect, I dont think nobody goin to Summer Jam just to see Slaughter House.

  29. Fuckswag says:

people who say recovery sucks need to get their ears checked….you people will hate on ANYTHING even if its perfect…damn niggaz always complaining about something these days

  30. NOswag says:

Eminem is the king of rap for a reason, its funny to see every1 telling him wut to do for his next album, lol he dnt need noone advice

  31. Anonymous says:

HELLLLL YEAAHHH, THE G.O.A.T IS BACK WITH MORE!!!!!

  32. pat says:

@ivy blue hov, good point but were those their best albums? maybe it was nas’s best album but certainly not hov’s best work. But at the end of the day everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Like what you like and if you dont like someone dont listen to them. I dont listen to justin beiber but i dont spend the time hating on him either. The kid has talent and lets face it who would not want to be in his position at his age with all that $ and can get pretty much any chick he wants. anyway, I am looking forward to 2 albums. Slaughterhouse and em’s next solo album.

  33. Double u-Tee-Eff says:

    FINALLY!!
PUT THESE FUKERS IN THERE PLACE!!

  34. @gtfomike says:

    This made my day haha

  35. WestCoast says:

    Great
we need new classic featuring nas and jay-z

  36. BBGUN says:

Lets all just give it up for Peter Rosenberg(The Jewish Johnny Carson) one time for making this happen. This dude is more hip hop than most of these rappers(if thats possible). He stands up for Hip hop when no one else will. He is really becomeing the voice of hip hop.

  37. YunG based god says:

there is no doubt in my mind the album is gonna be a classic. but im with Carlito PLEASE no wayne features

  38. Grammer says:

over my dead body remix by Grammer…..Give me the crown 2 coming soon! http://tweetmysong.com/44827wu

  39. fuk waka says:

thank you! thank you! thank you!

  40. dopeaom says:

@pat It’s not arguing, just sharing our opinions. Though you can’t really compare athletes and artists, artists are inspired the most when they have the most troubles while athletes get better with years of training until they stop training as hard or get hurt, or their body starts getting old.

Just open a couple of lyrics from Infinite or other early work, and from Recovery or Hell and you’ll see, he still has syllables but it’s obvious they don’t follow a story like they used to. They are just thrown together so they form a complex rhyme, but they don’t have as nice structure as before.

  41. TheCool says:

This is dope ass news. I have a feeling this could be the best album since The Eminem Show. Recovery was dope lyrically. Anybody who says otherwise, was sleeping. The production is what held it back alot. But with the Bad Meets Evil album, being around Slaughterhouse, all the positive feedback on the Shady 2.0 cypher, I think we’ll be seeing that Shady Cypher Em on this album.

He’s got the lyrics and flow again. Now I just hope he get’s the production right this time. Maybe get Dre on this one. The production on Relapse was hot, it was just the accent that fucked it up.

  42. josh says:

Eminem’s alum is going to be a classic as always and I really am looking forward to yelawolf’s next album Love Story. He hasn’t started recording it yet, but like he said ” Classic is the standard” and theres no doubt that he will exceed that standard. Shady got the best people in the business and I want more yelawolf and eminem collaborations that r actually good and make u say damb, every time u hear em. Shady 2.0 Muthafuckers!!!!!!!!!!

  43. hmmm says:

@google me unless you actually listen to albums shut your fucking mouth

  44. Marko-V says:

Great news and hopefully this will mark a trend in bringing real lyricist back in the limelight.

  45. SM says:

recovery is the best hip hop album to come out in the past 5 years and that is a fact, not one song on it that is bad, and slaughterhouse is the best rap group to come out this decade

  46. pat says:

@dopeaom you can compare athletes and artists in the sense that you get better with practice and over time you hone your craft. In my opinion no matter what you do you normally get better at it with repetition. You think jay-z and biggie were as good when they first started rapping or after a few albums? or how about when you start a new job the first couple months you learn it your slow and then after doing it for a few years you can do it in your sleep. Point being there is no way in hell infinite was anywhere near recovery or bad meets evil. I honestly think eminem would tell you himself that he is way better now then he was on his first album 16 years ago. Not to mention look at the actual words that he uses now compared to that album. I mean he uses words now that he did not even know back then. Again , this is all opinion based but there is no way infinite was his best album. but if you think so thats cool and i respect that. I really do. I look forward to the next album!!

  47. Gizzabe says:

Nice! Dope! Can’t wait to hear Slaughterhouse’s album and performance! Eminem better do better than Recovery this time!

  48. MrSkeezyMak says:

Gotta agree with most of what Pat said, recovery was fuckin sick. Hip hop needs a new Em album, you know it’s in a bad state when people are praising the sub-par lyrics from people like 2 chainz.

  49. DJ Semtex's Prosthetic says:

EM where u been ! Hip Hop needs you AGAIN!! come back LOLLL

  50. atheist says:

you know Rosenberg had a boner

  51. yuup says:

an eminem/ rakim song wud be great for hiphop

  52. NEM says:

    hell to the yes!

  53. Yoga says:

Slaughterhouse would most likely flop but quality music >>>>
So Em making a new album, that’s dope. Honestly I liked Recovery and BME but please get off them pop shit.

  54. Mike Diggity says:

2012 will be a sick year for hip-hop! Just watch!

  55. pienman says:

niice! can’t wait to hear what he got 2 say inbetween the trayvon thang & his crew D12 spitting up…. i wanna hear his stance

  56. King says:

expecting pop songs like “Love The Way You Lie” n “Space bound” amidst some dope songs (Talkin To My Self No Love Cinderella Man etc)…….Em should get off that emo shit

  57. Pimp Squad Raw says:

What “Word” said. Shady on drugs = Shady we like.

  58. […] Eminem called Cipha Sounds & Rosenberg this morning and announced that Slaughterhouse will be on the Summer Jam stage. He also said that he

  59. Serin says:

Anyone who thinks Recovery is great, more than likely, hasn’t been a fan of Eminem since SSLP. Recovery was full of corny ass punchlines and even cornier hooks. Eminem’s singing is atrocious and the production was pretty lackluster. Sorry. Lyrics were decent, I guess. The only song that actually deserve to be replayed is Going Through Changes.

  60. STRANGE says:

Have a feeling this albums going to be as embarrassing as the bad meets evil album

  61. junkjuice says:

good to hear em is gonna be putting out a new album. i just hope it sounds more effortless life what most of his older stuff did. to me, the majority of what he puts out now sounds like he’s trying to push it too hard.
