This nigga just never fucking stops b…. BRA fucking VO
Man i respect jigga and all that and cant knock the hustle (no pun intended) but budweiser sponsor?? Your the most respected black hiphop type person there EVER was and by continually taken these type of sponsorships at the end of the day does let me to believe you are a sellout. Make that money jay, i hope you can spend it all in this and next lifetime. Going to listen to ether then Life Is Good. I understand we drink beer and smoke but this is Jay Z now, the man who reps us on Oprah. I know you could have found someone else to back you for a tour, or invest your own money. your bigger than life hov you been done did it!
Reblogged this on TRU DAT and commented:
Let’s be real, everybody who hasn’t already been on Budweiser will now be on it.
cmon now, there isn’t anything negative about beer. and beer and liquor sponsors are very common sponsors for all music and tours. rock music, rap, techno, all sponsored by beer and liquors. there is nothing wrong with that, many people genuinely like drinking alcohol, thats not a bad thing.
Blaze makes a very good point. There’s times when I think to myself what do these millionaires do with all the money they have made, and in what way they redistribute it back (if at all).
In ” moment of clarity- black album” jay makes his one end all valid point as well. Sell what can make you money. I do believe he is the most iconic rap artist living, and has to be in the top 3 in all time.
Regardless of how many “white” deals he may make, to some sense he is still breaking down the barrier and stepping foot in that room. I mean pit bull did it, but no where near to where jay can take it.
At the end of the day, after he’s dropped off to his place. The driver has parked the car. And the residuals are still in tact, no matter what you say; he’s still the man, it’s their money, and your perogative to change your situation (at least to only their defense).
You racists really tick me off. ”White” deals? There’s no white and black deal for a businessman, there’s just profitable deal and no deal. Why would he put his own money to organize a whole festival when he can make a commercial for his festivals with few bears in it and let them put their signs all over the place and in return they pay to organize the festival and he picks up the tickets money and any other income if there is some, like TV deal and such.
Dopeaom is right. Business is business. But brother, and I don’t want to star a debate, but black people can’t be racist. Not towards white people. It should be called something else. Racism is all about power, hence, no matter how many times white peole get called “Cracker” or “Honky”, they never take offense. Those names have absolutely zero resonance.
In other news; MegYuuup, you owe me 3 minutes of my life back. That song and rapper is garbage!
P.S. HOV WON!
JOHNYblaze you said it in a better way than i would,or a nicer way.
Everyone wants to pretend there’s no difference of white and black and when u make note of the real differences, you’re racist, funny.
Jay is a sellout, but at the same time he can be an inspiration to someone which can be a positive thing.
It would be nice for him to do more, but it’s not for every man. So even if he just lives his life making as much money as he can and doing nothing great with it, he can still be looked at like an obama barrier breaker, even if obama doesnt really do anything special for the black community.
Lol buggin out if it was wack you wouldn’t have made a post about it lmaaao and if it was wack you would of stopped listening to it when u noticed it was “wack”
MegYuuup, by tht estimation, Kreashawn must be B.I.G. I tuned out halfway through your friend’s song because I realised it wasn’t getting better.
So even though I only listened to a minute and a half, I want a full THREE minutes of my life back for interest. And it took me about 90 seconds to reply to you, so there! I WANT MY TIME BACK!!!!!!
This chile right here…the one they call “Hova”….is the best example of turning lemons into lemonade that Ive ever seen in my whole life.
See Lupe. You crying ass nigga. This is how you rep for your people. Don’t stop to whine and bitch. Just live by example real niggaz’ll catch on. We all got a lot to say but if there is no respect there… (lasers anyone) I ain’t trying to hear shit you gotta say. Lead by example. You wanna diss dead people in Colorado ’cause you feel you people is being overlooked ?! (they are so what? you want to help stop making wack music and become a community organizer. So what dead people anywhere for no good reason ain’t tragic?? Jay-z on the other hand ain’t gonna go on tv like some 2nd grade Malcolm X with a stupid haircut. He’ll just send out his condolences and then donate the nights proceeding from the concert. Been doing that since (backstage back when he and x were equal) Jay-z You will never find this nigga in Marcy Project unless it’s Christmas, or thanksgiving maybe. But he will build a community center or two,set up scholarships, donate, create job opportunities by building clubs, restaurants, and now mufuckin stadiums. Nas,Kanye,…..real niggaz ain’t about dropping stats on tv. We all know the hood is fucked up. But I do believe these 21century niggaz know the deal way more than the last generation. Don’t nobody wanna see you cry (not that it’s not okay once in a while) But I repeat don’t nobody wanna see (or hear) that shit. Ask Young Buck. This is how it’s done Hov. Respect. If only Foxy or Amil could’ve held on. Oh well—
tell em blaxdon!!
