I kinda liked his mercy verse, that being said 2 Chainz is not that lyrical and mostly is living off his hype. I do feel like he worked had for his hype just not in lyrics more in “Its the people you know”. I also like his song with the weekend. I think hip-hop/rap is more about the mood your in for example i may wanna here J.Cole one day then Rick Ross the next, or even Kendrick Lamar and then go listen to Jay Rock. Its all about what you feel like listening to today.
