probably a little tasteless releasing a song called suicidal thoughts when a prolific director just committed suicide… then again, nobody really listens to DJ Khaled probably doesn’t have much taste to begin with.
Dumb comment.. the song is sending a positive message
this song came out a week ago just dropped the video cause his album dropping tomorrow stfu about being tasteless hater he sold more than you broke bitch
^still shit.
Yooooo. This song is crazy. Big move for Mavado! Nice song to come back on the scene with.
@Dee – here’s a great quote I once read, might be be useful one day when you decide to see beyond finances:
“If you want to know what God thinks of money, just look at the people he gave it to…”
Let me break it down for you – DJ Khaled is possibly one of the most vacuous artists you’ll ever listen to… no amount of music he puts out or money he makes will ever take away from the fact he’s actually not talented in the slightest and I think if you were honest with yourself, you’d admit he’s never musically created anything ever worth mentioning as the embodiment of quality hip-hop.
The problem is, if you allow for mediocrity to exist, by being passive, it just continues to flourish. Instead, be constructive, don’t buy bad music and the labels will have to offer you what you want, good quality music. Otherwise what you do is allow yourself to live in a bubble of recycled music and recycled lyrics, to the point your only example of ‘quality’ is made up of mediocrity.
If this is still hard for you to understand, my man Immortal Technique probably explains it best:
“so if your message ain’t shit, fuck the records you sold
’cause if you go platinum, it’s got nothing to do with luck
it just means that a million people are stupid as fuck”
Peace
