Freddie Gibbs is taking his ESGN to a whole new level. In a partnership with EMPIRE Distrubtion, Gibbs is launching his own independent label. To hear him tell it.
“ESGN is me. If you’re in it, you know what it’s all about. You might know ESGN from my blog on RapRadar, but it’s basically the full embodiment of what I represent: music, film, fashion and more. I decided to partner up with EMPIRE Distribution because I like the way they rock. They make things simple and I like keeping things simple. They allow me to do what I gotta do and help me expand my reach through their various relationships.”
His Baby Face Killa mixtape drops September 25 and he plans to release a retail version with additional tracks afterwards.
Creating your own record label when you’ve never released an album is not a good look
This tells me Jeezy doesn’t give a fuck about him!
Good move these 2 above dont know shit
BFK needs to be mind blowing
God bless the child that’s got his own, flat out.
Glad to see an artist controlling the business side of his music. We need more entrepreneurs. Keep going.

I knew it was a bad idea signing with Jeezy

Didn’t see this one coming, but I guess we should have. So many rappers are forming labels these days. If he’s smart, Gibbs will do his best to create a sustainable brand that goes far beyond entertainment.
damn you, this is sorta embarassing for gibbs. I love dude to death, he’s one of the realest out, but damn your own label now? that seems hella weird since he is supposedly signed to CTE… we’ll see what happens but im afraid that its too late to resurrect his career…
BFK!
I don’t give a shit, I just want that good music delivered.
A bunch of debbie downers on this bitch.
For real @Anon Gibbs is hands down the best gangsta rapper in the game! Best lyrics and flow about the streets. BFK gon be the mixtape of the year
He is still with CTE, retards
WHO? …exactly! Jeezy aint never dropping a freddie album lol
Yo what fashion and film does Freddie represent?????
Stop it 5, this da same dude dat snitched on the TSA agent for lettin him get on da plane with weed right?
Gibbs been a confused dude for years now. He from Indiana but rep chicago then he thinks he represents film and fashion when he over here being Jeezy weed carrier and shit. smh
Why is BFK takin so damn long to drop
CTE WORLD NIGGAA
I THINK WE ALL SEEN THIS COMING BEFORE WE ACTUALLY SEEN IT COMING…JEEZY IS THE TYPE OF NIGGA THATS TOO INTO HIMSELF SHINNING TO LET SOMEBODY ELSE DO THAT OVER HIM.
who da fuck cte label sign to for dezz pussy boyz to put out an imprint R even an album, niggaz gettin’ fuck ova big time ask jeezy. DEM boyz dont now how to hussle da game major moves nigga get money big mussle shit keep dem streetz onlock
See the difference between Sleezy and Ross? Ross putting niggas out left and right while Gibbs getting frustrated and saying fuk it, I’ll put myself out. Bossssssssss
Its a good look he signed to CTE why wouldnt jeezy allow him to go out and build his brand like he did
Might be reading too much into this, but this looks like Gibbs trying to separate himself from Jeezy, and the leaks from BFK defend that, cause Bout it Bout it and The Hard sound NOTHING like what the majority of Cold Day in Hell sounded like. You really think Gibbs wants BFK to just sound like Pull Up? Gibbs is best over Madlib type shit but Jeezy’s style don’t mesh wit Madlib. Honestly, Gibbs should have just signed with Stones Throw. Hope this shit works for him, cause really, Gibbs career isn’t in the best spot right now, especially since other guys like Krit and Kendrick got their albums already out (well Kendrick is like a month away but you get it)
big fan of Freddie’s music, i can’t fuckin stand digital only releases though. been waitin forever and a day for this, now i’m gonna have to wait even longer until the physical drops to hear it….fuck!

Google ‘Rockafella Records’ & then slap yourself in the face for saying dumb shit
