It’s been 18 years since Jay-Z rode the subway. True story. In fact, he told Cipha Sounds and Peter Rosenberg that he wished he could’ve rode the train to his Yankee Stadium concerts.
Well, he got his wish. Yesterday afternoon, Hov ditched the Maybach and hopped aboard the R line for his final concert at the Barclays Center. Stand clear of the closing doors—and crazy ass fans.
The subway dirty a shit. Why?
I mean damn, can the man catch the damn train? “He’s Uncomfortable Dog”.
DEM BODYGAURDS LOOK LIKE THEY COULD BRAKE A NIGGA NECK WITH THEY PINKY FINGER
This happens to me everytime im down on South Beach.
Legend. Dreams Do Come True.
Great footage and a great PR move. One of his security guys looks like he’s in his 60s, but still gives off that “I could kill you with my bare hands” vibe.
Everybody loves Hov, even those that claim to hate him
i dont run map no more , i run the map ………… yep he’s that great … hov this

WHERE THE HELL WERE THE CAMERAS WHEN ROZAY USED THE PUBLIC BATHROOM IN THE MIAMI AIRPORT
THAT WAS A EPIC TIME FOR HIP HOP AND THE CITY OF MIAMI
Damn bruh–dudes couldn’t just be chill at all. Straight frantic. MFers went straight bonkers–Jay looked mad uncomfortable.
fuck jay z
its funny cuz i know these celebrities eat this shit up and it make them feel better, i wouldnt even bother gassin em up even more..
That’s just sad. He’s just a regular person that raps. He’s influential to rap, but it’s not like he’s the President that you gotta be in amazement that he’s taking the subway.
COSIGN DEEZ’ SECOND COMMENT
COSIGN Yoo’s 1ST SENTENCE OF HIS COMMENT
haters beeeeen hating!! Bed-stuy hov!!
you guys are so cranky, take a chill pill, enjoy life i’m shawn carter enjoys life a lot, i’m a regular user of this website and take keen interest in the comments, i feel you people are angry at something, i haven’t got my finger on it yet, but when i do i’ll point it out. Live life people stop hating, as Nas said “some see hate as confused admiration” i know i do, love the culture for what it was, is and will be.
Papes, I second that homie
i bet nigga was scared the fuck out
this shit happens to me all thet ime when i bust shots off on Gta
pandemonium
u c how Jay was no where near the edge by the tracks, but everybody was standing there and could have easily felled onto tracks with train coming. I wouldn’t have lost that much focus for anyone or thing
Jays the greatest.. I went to the yankee stadium show, heart of the city tour, bp3 tour, roc a fella tour, summer jam where he headlined, the carter tour.. So many times.. Yankee stadium was the best
What is the fucking point of yelling “BROOOOKLYN!!!! BROOOOKLYN!!!” all in the nigga face?! Dumb ass fans.
question,,,how did anyone know this dude was getting on the train,,,,what the fuck he sent out a text or some shit,,,,yeah he holdin paper and all that,,,,,,however if he is so hardbody like he portrays in his bars,,,,,him and his mans and them,, should have no problem breezin through the system on the low,,,
the bodyguards brought that extra attention,,,,,he went like five stops if that many,,,,,it sucks when you cant walk them streets you claim,,,fans or not,,,,,,i would never trade my freedom to roam,,,for fame or money,,
he look shook with bodyguards,,,,,better him than me,,,,,
i remember when angie martinez asked him what’s the thing he misses most, that he used to do, that he can’t do anymore because of his celebrity. the first thing he said was “taking the subway in NY… i haven’t done that in forever.”
seeing those people so close to the tracks when the train came, i can see how dangerous that shit really is. people would be getting hit weekly if that nigga took the subway regularly.

It’s the little things even if you’ve made it out. Of course, you’ll have to take a different, more protected approach. I appreciate what Jay has done for the culture.
