Peter Rosenberg had Joey Bada$$ in the studio last night on Hot 97. Following his interview, he and his Pro Era ensemble kicked a freestyle over some throwback instrumentals.
Joey puts on a good interview, charismatic dude
LOL I guess they are making up for not supporting the underground.

Rosenberg’s Real Late Sunday night is an underground show, Loch.
B Dot, are you now putting it upt to make your argument look good?
Cause this show didn’t just start last night.
If so, that’s a lame move.
If you did to take responsibility on your part, as far as supporting local artist then cool.
And oh yeah, RR could support more local too, not just Hot97. Maybe if you focus off MMG yall can do that more.
Huh?
Perhaps you should research RR and see that we’ve covered Real Late interviews in the past and Joey Bada$$…I’m not a fan of his music personally, but I can’t ignore the moves he’s making. Maybe you should stay focused.
Ok uh what time did this radio show/interview happen? I bet i was sleep because i have a life lol and ODC if hot97 can do it late at night RR can post it late the next day. Blog and radio are not the same.
@ODC peep all the RR post tagged w/ Peter Rosenberg, https://rapradar.com/tag/peter-rosenberg/ .
IM NOT FEELING HIM…BUT I FEEL WHAT HE’S TRYING TO DO. EVERY NEW NIGGA IN NEW YORK IS JUST TRYING TO DO REANACMENTS OF 1900S N3W YORK HIP HOP. DRESSING LIKE THEM….DOIN VIDEOS LIKE THEM ALLAH ASAP ROCKY.
Kid reminds me of eminems Infinite album. People are sleeping on how lyrical he actually is.
Yo B. Dot who DO YOU like?
You don’t like Kendrick, Joey Bada$$……
Joey Bada$$ has a lot of work to do. Granted. His mixtape has quite a bit of filler & he quickly needs to expand his subject matter.
However, there are like 8 songs on the tape which are undeniable dope IMO.
when i listen to his style it reminds me of a cross between Buckshot and old-school Hov, kids got talent he just need somelthing big, but not like everything else to blow-up. i think thats why @B.Dot is not feeling him so much, is probably ’cause he sounds like a typical NY cat from the early 90’s. he doesn’t stand out.
That has something to do with it. To me, it’s a lil early for him. but i think he need LOTS of improvement in my opinion.
He can clearly rhyme, but i think he needs better beats and song structure. I think the more people put him on a pedestal, it turns me off.
