With his all-girl band, Prince helped Late Night with Jimmy Fallon celebrate their 4 year anniversary by performing “Screwdriver” and “Bambi”. Looks like he owes Roots guitarist, Captain Kirk a new guitar.
MiMi also partook in the festivities with a toast. She discussed American Idol and revealed her album, which will feature the likes of Hit-Boy, The-Dream, JD and more, will be due in May.
I’m just glad Questlove and his garbage drumming didn’t somehow end up in Prince’s performance

Prince songs were ok, but the guys such a legend, I’m content with whatever he does

I’m definitely glad Prince didn’t jam with The Roots. They are a good band, but “legendary” they are not. He relies mostly on the snare, and doesn’t even play a full kit. Prince impressed me most with “Bambi”. The whole band did. Hannah’s bass drum kicking during the guitar breakdown was funky. 3rd Eye Girl should release an album. It’ll be interesting.

Prince’s power as a musician just blows me away.
