He wasn’t hating you dumbass, damn niqqas getting butt hurt quick!
i’m curious to see how he follows up too, not a lot of people can have classic after classic unless you’re one of the great ones. and how many are there of those? just a few.
@SoloK
You get my point, Jay-Z didn’t do it after Reasonable Doubt or Blueprint
Nas set the bar high on his first album
And none of Raekwon’s album are in the same breath as the purple tape.
Exactly! i’m not saying K.dot will fail for the rest of his career..i’m just curious to hear what he can come up with: the beats, the flows, the lyrics.. I honestly wanna hear some GKMC with better beats selection!
But Kendrick dropped FOUR crazy projects in a row. Kendrick Lamar EP, Overly Dedicated, Section.80 & now GKMC. Lyrically, he doesn’t slip ONCE on those projects. The production is dope. There’s cohesiveness. There’s party tracks, there’s love tracks, there’s conscious tracks, there’s storytelling, there’s ignant shit, everything is there. He has nothing to prove. BUT, from what I’ve heard in interviews, he seems very conscious of his music. He knows what works for him and what doesn’t, so I can’t expect anything other than dopeness from him.
