Welcome To Dade County.
After setting the tone in Chicago, Q’s URL traveled to Miami for the second installment of their Field documentary series. Featuring interviews from local rappers as well as Trick Daddy, Gunplay, Uncle Luke and DJ Nasty, cameras went to Miami’s notorious hoods for a gripping look at the streets and the city’s hip-hop scene. Definitely worth watching.
This documentary was cool and in the words of Trick “You ain’t been to miami you been to south beach”. Q did a great job but this doc only showed a very small portion of what really happens in my city, especially in my hood North Miami. In sweet in South Beach but not over that bridge. This also reminded of when Jeezy flashed that small lil gun over on soft ass South Beach LOL.. Salute Dread Skeezy !!

ASSUMING YOU ARE BLACK/AFRICAN AMERICAN, YOUR SELF HATRED FOR OUR PEOPLE MAKES THE KKK LOOK LIKE FLAMING BOY SCOUTS!!!!! PLEASE HATE ON THE TRUTH!!!!! PS – FUCK WORLDSTAR & ANYONE SUPPORTING THAT BULLSHIT SITE!!!!!!!!
Dope doc, I’m glad I made it out. Shout out to N. Miami and my fellow ZOE’s. Us Haitians went from being the butt of every joke, to being 1 of the most respected movements in the south. SAK PASE!!!
I CAN DIG IT!
Would it hurt to see a documentary with blacks who receive degrees and doctorates, or blacks inventing new technology or blacks who have thriving businesses? Everybody black dont live in the hood, some smartened up and made it out without rapping. This is another black exploitation documentary, nothing different. A bunch of niggas with guns and rap careers because hiphop glorifies criminals. We give rappers big ass gold chairs to sit on and a platform to tell you how cool jail is. And you wonder why blacks cant progress.
Ha!! How often does any of that shit happen? Not often enough to care about.
It happens every day. There are more black women doing better educational wise than black men and they deserve to be shown and heard man. Nothing wrong with showing the positive side of the culture.
You’ve got a point to a certain degree. This documentary shows also how these young guys who often are the victims of an impoverish society often times growing up with only one active parent and sometimes none, have adapted to their circumstances and made a way out of no way. Wether it’s drugs or rapping they supported their families the best way they knew how. Instead of condemning these guys for their decisions try to understand what it is that made them feel like they had no other choice. It starts when they are young children and unfortunately we can’t control the situation that were born in, just the luck of the draw I guess. It’s easy to say what you would do while your. On the outside looking in. Ijs
Brilliant.
This documentary is the real. This is the real living not a condo on brickell clubbing on sb. Truth is that money dont solve anything it doesnt satisfy. The world and its desires will pass away but they who do the will of their creator will see eternity. CMON
