Ahh Yes.

Common and Vince Staples march their way back to the kingdom with Jay Electronica in tow.  On the track, Jay raps: “Rappers I gave birth to, shot at the god, blasphemy/Told these motherfuckers, they’ll never Jimmy Degrassi.” No shots. b.dots a sucker and opportunist. he might have some money, but theres nothing valuable about the work he does

          2. Shock says:

So why you on his site commenting, trying to get a reply out of him? I avoid niggas I don’t like, not go on their Facebook page. No shade, just a question. There are other hip hop sites.

” Rappers I gave birth to shot at the God, blasphemy
Told these motherfuckers to never Jimmy DeGrassi me” – Jay Electronica

  21. Shipwreckdakota says:

this that shit man. Electronica never disappoints.

  22. anonoymous says:

The fact that you all choose what is maybe a diss from Jay as the thing to take away from his verse and “write” about is maybe – maybe – what is wrong with the world. Focus on the drama… the dude is spitting hard about upliftment and you wanna talk about rap beef.

  23. Jeff Hutch says:

To understand Common’s music, you have to be intelligent, which some of Hip Hop fans aren’t. Especially 50 Cent’s fans. Not all but a good portion. So, what do they do? They call this Wack or boring.

Glad to see Common drop great lyrics on these soulful tracks!
