  5. Dashing28 says:

    Thank you Crooked I.

Where are Jay, Ye, Drake, Wayne, Eminem on this? I haven’t a word.

No one Is OBLIGATED to do or say anything, but if you represent the culture and profit from it then you should honor the tradition from which it came. That’s not just by giving a shout out to Kool G Rap or Lords of the Underground, it’s by speaking out when there’s injustice going on in our community.

Their silence makes me feel they’ve got more in common with the white folks in power than they do us. What the hell are they waiting for?

Ye, this shit is a bigger deal than Taylor Swift winning a VMA. Where’s Katrina Ye?

Jay, I’m beginning to feel like you’re goin out of your way to not do shit. A tweet, a statement, nothing???

Before I get hit with comments about how they’re “just rappers” and no one should be looking to them for cues, remember that Jay had multiple fundraisers for Obama, politics with W. Buffett, Bloomberg and is hugely influential.

    Why are they silent?

Eminem, use the rage of yours and your pen game to write something. You know how many people will listen to what Em has to say on the subject? Not to mention it’s free promotion for Shady XV so there’s even a financial incentive..

What the fuck are people waiting for?

    1. Black Phillip says:

      They all sellouts thats why

    2. marty mcfly says:

I just take exception with your shot at Jayz. In the last 15 years, how many “statements” has Jayz made about injustice? ALOT so at this point its time for people like you to make the statements because Jay has said more then enough. Thats like asking Nas to make a “statement” when he’s made plenty already…. I mean I get what your saying but for some people once they get caught up in “statements”, people will expect them to speak on every issue period and thats not something that should be expected. Its almost a 100% probability that when you get the next Jayz album there will be a “statement” but Jay like always is gonna choose his words wisely before he speaks.

      1. Dashing28 says:

        2 things
        1) Nah, Jay hasn’t said A LOT. He hasn’t said much at all
        2) Even if that were true, this shit is still fucked up and still warrants a reaction.

I’m a Jay Z fan. I’ve defended him when people have gone after him for not doing more for the community because he does do some charity.

But I’m really disappointed by his silence.

It’s up to people like me to make statements. I have. And we are. But we don’t have his followers, his reach, his rolodex, or his power. We need people of influence to speak on this for shit to change. And honestly, I’m surprised that you are defending the idea of him saying nothing. How does Jay Z saying nothing help?

This shit happened in NY, a guy selling looseys. Jay should say something

If civil rights taught us anything it’s that shit don’t get changed unless the folks in power are affected by this. And they’re not affected by loud black protesters or looters. They’re affected by people of influence using their power to have an impact.

Do you remember Ye saying he was going to tell black people to stop buying Louis Vuitton after being snubbed?

Use your damn power for something that’s not just in your self interest. At least for a second, think of the people that put you in that spot.

        1. marty mcfly says:

Jayz hasn’t said ALOT? idk about that

          1. Dashing28 says:

I’m a Jay Z fan. I rep him hard. But he hasn’t. I’d LOVE to be proven wrong.

          2. marty mcfly says:

Id say he’s made a career of making “statement” and many of those statements revolve around the issue of justice and injustice… I also think there is a lesson to be learned in NOT giving statements and reactionary words to the public.

          3. Dashing28 says:

            Nah, there’s no lesson there.

            Silence means consent.

If you aint saying something, you’re implicitly saying that the status quo is fine.

And he hasn’t made a career of making those kinds of statements. He’s made a career by making hit records, none of which really spoke much to injustices. Yeah, he’s got a few album cuts here and there where he vaguely references injustice, but that’s very different from being on the side of the people who put you in the spot you’re in when they’re in pinch.

We show up for him. When he drops a album, when he has shows. We support him. But how is he supporting the culture that gave him and his great grandkids insane wealth?

          4. marty mcfly says:

There is a lesson there. If black people in general would learn to think first and then react… That is the lesson. Think first and then open your mouth and sometimes say nothing at all. There is a lesson there.

          5. Dafuq says:

yea, maybe if they think a little, they’ll realize that things are fucked up.

          6. marty mcfly says:

Its not much to think about when you see the murder on video tape. Nothing Jayz can say about the issue says more then what your own eyes can see.

          7. 3eyes says:

YALL PLEASE STFU ALREADY! we get the point

          8. Dashing28 says:

            You watch the video, moron?

Even Glenn Beck said the cop shoulda been charged with something?

Glenn motherfucking Beck??? That’s the dude that called Obama the most racist president in American history and even HE spoke out against it.

Honestly, it’s guys like you that are the worst. You’re encouraging silence? Who are you man?

No one’s asking for looting or violence. We’re asking for it to stop. I just want to not have to worry that my nephew will get killed by the police.

And fair or not, the people that have the loudest megaphones get heard the most. And in our culture that’s folks like Jay, Ye, Eminem.

by the way your argument about his “history of making statements” (which isn’t true but I’ll pretend it is) is a moronic one.

I’m glad that you weren’t around during the civil rights movement. By your logic, MLK could have stopped after Selma and been like “well I already spoke on this issue so I think I’m done talking about this forever. Besides I’m wealthy now. This is not MY issue any more.”

          9. marty mcfly says:

No your suggesting things I did not say and creating a false argument based on what I did NOT say instead of what I did say. And some of what I did say, you added on and exaggerated the point to take it out of its context. Im am not encouraging silence, I am not asking for looting or violence or any of that other shit your saying. My words were clear and when you have to create a straw man argument against it then its you that needs to check yourself.

          10. Dashing28 says:

            Ok. Then answer me this.

Following the verdict in the Eric Garner case, what should Jay Z and other black leaders with money, followers, sponsors, and networks do?

          11. marty mcfly says:

Jayz should continue to do what he’s been doing and never getting credit for. For more then a decade Jay has been giving scholarships and funding the college education of many young black brothers and sisters that could no otherwise afford it and Jayz mother runs the program as the head of his foundation but see he’ll never get a thank you for that because people are so caught up in statements that they forget that this is bigger then just Eric Garner and we all know he was murdered and I hope that cop burns in hell. However I think instead of asking certain people such as Jayz to make statements? Maybe people should encourage him to continue to send black youth to college.

          12. Dashing28 says:

The two aren’t mutually exclusive homie.

Charity has nothing to do with this. If you want I’ll make a perfunctory statement about all of the work Jay Z has done below the radar and how awesome it is but it doesn’t have anything to do with this.

Did you know MLK volunteered at children’s hospitals? That’s great, but it has zero to do with the civil rights movement.

          13. marty mcfly says:

Yeah and see when a person is not appreciated for work they do? Then they not always gonna give statements because when work is not respected then thats a problem itself.

          14. Dashing28 says:

When Jay talks people listen. And, for the most part, people worship Jay. Bottom line, It would be better if he said something.

          15. marty mcfly says:

In the case of Eric Garner, Jay could say just watch the video cause that says more then any statement he could make. Murder live on camera right in your face is what people need to listen to more then a statement from Jayz.

          16. Dashing28 says:

And millions more people would watch the video if Jay even said just that. But he didn’t. Radio silence.

          17. marty mcfly says:

Put its about the video and the murder of Eric Garner not Jayz. If people need to hear Jay say something in order to watch a video that is causing nationwide protest then thats crazy.

          18. Dashing28 says:

And It’s crazy that people need to see a celebrity dump a bucket of ice cold water to donate $ to charity too but that’s the world we live in.

I wish teachers, doctors and scientists had more influence on young Americans than Jay Z but they dobnt.

          19. marty mcfly says:

Well then people need to check they selves and think about what this is about? Is it about Jayz or several injustices by way of police brutality. Now if Jayz has more influence on the youth then teachers, doctors and scientists? Then I would suggest that the youth check themselves immediately and put their value system in order.

          20. marty mcfly says:

JAYZ is NOT the peoples leader. NO rapper or musician is. YOU are the damn leaders not them.

          21. Dashing28 says:

I didn’t say he was our leader, but I’m talking in facts. He’s more influential certainly. I wish that were more rue brotha, but it is what it is. Just as Miley Cyrus is more influential to young girls than Hillary Clinton, but I’m not even gonna talk about that cause it’s sidetracking from the point…

          22. marty mcfly says:

In this particular case, would the words of Jayz been more influential then your own eyes witnessing Eric Garner being killed by police? I understand people look up to Jayz, everybody who reads my comments knows I think Jayz is the Goat but hold up, fuck Jayz for a moment. We talking about a murder on camera people. We talking about human life here and in the case of Eric Garner it was taken by that NY police officer… So at this point its just so not about Jayz or his statements its about a murder that you can all see for yourselves.

          23. marty mcfly says:

You don’t always have to address a specific issue to address the larger issues including that specific one from another perspective.

          24. Dashing28 says:

            You didn’t answer the question.

          25. marty mcfly says:

i answered the part about Jayz. What should followers, sponsors and networks do? Be more concerned with actions then just the statements about actions.

          26. Dashing28 says:

So Jay Z should just do nothing when these things happen and just keep raising money for his own charity which has nothing to do with the issue at hand?

Read up on his charity dude. They don’t give that much money to kids and there are a lot of questions surrounding the money:

            http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/reliable-source/wp/2013/11/19/jay-zs-charity-a-closer-look-at-the-shawn-carter-foundation/

And even if it was a perfect charity that really did raise a lot of money, it STILL would have nothing to do with what’s happening here.

          27. marty mcfly says:

No Jayz should do something but does he need to make an announcement about it? I dont think so.

          28. Dashing28 says:

We talking in circles now. I didn’t say announcment. I said…something…anything? All we have is radio silence.

          29. marty mcfly says:

If Jayz decided to talk to some black leaders about it then that counts. It may not be a “statement” but again, not all things need to be said out in the open. Most statements are said off camera anyway.

          30. Dashing28 says:

That’s not true. And that’s part of why this is different than charity. This is actually a situation where being public WOULD make a difference. And that’s the point that you keep missing.

There actually IS a huge value to making a public statement. Just like there was when Jay Z said he supported gay marriage. He was closely followed by T.I, Snoop, Pharrell and others who came out in support of gay marriage which helped make it an easier sell to the black community when Obama came out in favor of it.

          31. marty mcfly says:

So if Jay’s statements can make a difference? What would that difference be? and about your point about gay marriage. They support marriage period. The reason they would also support gay marriage is because they support marriage period and because gay marriage has nothing to do with them. Jayz, Ti, Snoop, Pharrel and Obama are married already and to women at that so of course they support gay marriage and thats partly because that has nothing to do with them. Straight niggas dont give a fuck what homos do. But anyway in terms of this situation, what would Jays words change in terms of police brutality?

          32. Dashing28 says:

Forget gay marriage. It was just an example.

Jay’s words would get rebroadcast by a ton of media, making this a bigger story than it already is to younger demographis. They would help keep the story in the news cycle, They would get more people out in the streets to protest. They would give cover for a lot of smaller artists who are afraid to speak so more would speak out. They would probably lead to more music and entertainment that drew attention to the issue. They would put additional pressure on NY and the NYPD to make changes since Jay Z is hugely influential figure in NY politics, not just in rap. Bottom line is that his would increase the pressure to change things for the better.

          33. marty mcfly says:

Ok thats what you think. Me personally I dont think the words of Jayz would pressure the police to do shit. One because they don’t give a fuck about Jayz and two when someone has hatred in their hearts toward certain people then the words of Jayz is not gonna change that. Now I understand you think Jay’s comments would bring more light to the situation? I think the situation is already lit up to maximum capacity but I dont know if Jayz statements would necessarily change the actions of police.

          34. marty mcfly says:

and the fact the people bash Jayz for raising money that goes to the college education of black youth is interesting because why not say thank you and encourage that kinda work? Thats a problem. You aint gotta like the shit but instead of asking for statements sometimes you gotta look at some other things that Jayz has done and just appreciate that before you so quick to bash him for funding scholarships.

          35. Dashing28 says:

            Who’s bashing? It’s great.

Also, has zero to do with Eric Garner.

          36. marty mcfly says:

There is an expression black people use called “its takes a village to raise a child” and that has several meanings but I say that to say, if Jay is focused on other parts of the village? That does not mean he doesn’t see the other individuals out here but I wouldn’t expect him to always make statements either but the “village” does have something to do with the individuals. Just because you can not make any connections between the two does not mean there is none.

          37. marty mcfly says:

Jayz aint spoke much about injustice?… Yes he has and the problem is you weren’t listening. The 2nd verse on 99 Problems aint just some surface level nonsense. There’s something deeper there and he has several other lyrics that go into the same subject of justice and injustice which is good and evil in other forms. The problem is people don’t appreciate when Jay makes statements. They use it as ammunition to say fuck Jayz.

    3. Dafuq says:

They don’t give a fuck. They got corporate sponsors lined up in their pockets. They’re scared to take a stand and represent cause it will hurt their financial life lines. They’re nice and comfy in their lofts.

They’ll say a few comments here and there but they’ll never put two feet down on a movement.

Like Pac said, after him, no other nigga will have balls like him.

Jay claims he’s the leader of the “new” world. Kanye just rants about dumb shit and thinks it’s the right way to influence. Drake is just a primadonna so I don’t expect much from that fool. Wayne has too many fried brain cells. And Eminem must have received a letter from the FBI telling him to tone down his shit.

      1. marty mcfly says:

I dont think somebody like Jay making a comment will hurt him financially but more so the reason people want Jay to make a statement is so they can express how much they hate him like crabs in a barrel. Not because their interested in his thoughts on the matter.

        1. Dashing28 says:

Jay talking about it will be reported on CNN. And then maybe Beyonce says something. And tweets it to her millions of followers. And they get sponsors do/say something. And other celebrities….

I mean, what’s the point of having hugely successful black entrepreneurs in position of power if not for situations like this?

So it’s cool when Jay tells us to buy the new champagne he just bought? It’s cool to tell us to buy Tom Ford but not to say something on this??

I’m not saying it makes him a bad person for not saying anything, but why are you defending THAT?

Can’t we agree it’d be better if more people spoke up?

We’re being shot and killed left and right and no one’s even going to trial and we can’t say anything. Meanwhile, he’s gonna speak out against Sydney Poitier and call him boy??

Why defend that? Cause he’s nice on the mic?

Come on man. I like his music too, but what the fuck are we talking about?

          1. marty mcfly says:

Jay has made statements about injustice before so how much more do you want him to say? What would you like him to say? Who told you Jay has more power then everybody else? Cause he has fame and money? If people want statements they can make them themselves. You do not need Jayz for that because again for the last 18 years he’s been making “statements”… I want you to scan through his albums, his book Decoded… How many “statements” do you find about injustice? ALOT. Martin Luther King didnt have alot of money and neither did Malcolm X and they still made “statements” with or without celebrity musical artists. The problem is Jay has made “statements” and those statements are never respected by his own people so at this point what would you like him to say? Example, when Jay made the song Minority Report, that was a statement… When Jay made Nickels and Dimes on his last album, that was a “statement”… Jays verse on We Made It, that was a statement but do his people care? No because you’ll only remember him for his fame and money, not is “statements” so after almost 20 years of making statements it appears people don’t really give a fuck. They just want to bash him after he makes statements so thats why people ask for one.

          2. Dashing28 says:

Nickels and Dimes is about why Jay is conflicted about giving charity because he thinks he enables people around him. And he insults Harry Belafonte. It’s not about injustice.

“We Made it” is nothing but Jay bragging about the shit he’s got. Nothing about injustice.

“Minority Report” is about Katrina, yes. And it did speak on injustice. It probably didn’t get attention cause he released the song a year after Katrina when it had less impact than it would have had it come out immediately, but still Yes, i’ll grant you 1 of the 3 examples you gave….

Of course Jay Z has more power than we do. You know how I know? Cause I don’t even know you and we’re going back and forth talking about him….
And yes, money and fame do provide you with power, a platform, and a network.

Jay Z helped get Obama elected and you don’t think he’s got more power than we do? If you believe that, then I’m done talking to you cause I’m not gonna argue with a fool cause people from a distance won’t be able to tell who’s who. (See, I got that line from Jay)

          3. marty mcfly says:

See you hear those songs and only hear what you want but there still statements? Nickels and Dimes is also about being SILENT because lets keep in mind the attack people were using against Jay at the time was that he was being silent on certain issues. So when Jay says “you dont know all the shit I do for the homies”… and “the greatest form of giving is anonymous to anonymous so here ya’ll go, I promise this… What he saying is action doesn’t always have to announce itself with statements.

          4. Dafuq says:

A statement made in music is different than a statement made in the front lines.

He’s “safe” making a statement through a lyric in his album.

I’m not saying Jay should be the main figure in bringing more attention to this matter, but with all of his pull, he can make a difference.

Anyways though, none of this shit is gonna change, so we all might as well just lay down and be apathetic about it, right?

          5. marty mcfly says:

Jay stood with the parents of Trayvon Martin and people called him an opportunist more then saying thanks for the support.

          6. PanamaFresh says:

people are seeking statements in the thick of it…when all eyes are looking (like now) not when it’s safe to speak truth quietly to your core demographic on an album….but to the world. it’s okay…he is not that…this is when we needed PAC!

          7. marty mcfly says:

What people need to do is stop looking for Jayz and Pac. YOU are the leaders not them.

          8. marty mcfly says:

and the police department doesn’t write Jayz pay checks so if he wanted to make a statement it wouldn’t effect him at all and certainly not effect his money but its time for you and people like you to make statements cause Jay is no more and no less important then you are.

          9. Dafuq says:

Yea, when your wealth is over 500 million, you are pretty much MORE important and influential than me.

          10. marty mcfly says:

Thats only because of limited belief in the potential of your own power.

          11. Dafuq says:

And the potential of my power can only go so far.

            No more false cause fallacy.

          12. marty mcfly says:

Then I guess you know where your at but id be willing to bet that you have not exhausted the full power of your own potential and this is one reason why you feel Jayz is more powerful then you.

          13. Dashing28 says:

I’ve made statements, including the comments that you’re arguing against asking for support from Jay and then And I’m in NY. I was holding a sign in Grand Central yesterday. And there was some media there

But you know how there’d be a lot more media and people? If Jay Z or Em or Ye came out.

Really? Why are you arguing against this?

          14. marty mcfly says:

Ok you made your statements and Jayz is not more important then you are so its not about you specifically or about Jayz, its about the statement itself. The “enemy” really doesn’t give a fuck about Jayz statements either.

          15. Dashing28 says:

            What enemy?

It’s about Jay Z recruiting his fans, followers, sponsors, and wealthy colleagues (Warren Buffett, Bloomberg, etc)
            to action.

I’m not looking for Jay to “Save the day” just to be a human being and say something. Let people know that we’re not gonna just move on and watch Love and Hip Hop and let this keep happening.

And by the way this isn’t just about Jay. Nas should be saying something. As should Kendrick. I’m not letting anyone off the hook. If you benefit from the culture and reap the benefits of the success that comes from it, the least you can do is speak out when things like this happen.

          16. marty mcfly says:

Alright man but just understand Jay has made several statements in his career so now its your turn. Don’t just wait for Jayz because many black men have been killed by the police. Jay is not gonna comment every time. Again, Jayz statements are NOT more powerful then yours are. I can see why you would think his are but there not. Your own statements are just as important and have the potential to reach just as many people, it just depends on how much your willing to say and do.

          17. Dashing28 says:

No one’s “just waiting for Jay z”

I was outside protesting. I’ve written on this extensively. And now I’m on here posting trying to encourage folks to do more.

I’m doing everything in MY power homie. But I don’t have his POWER.

So part of what I’m doing is putting pressure on those other folks to do more. It’s one part of what I can do with my power.

If you don’t see the irony in discouraging me from calling out Jay Z while telling me I need to do more myself, then I don’t know what to say. CALLING them out IS doing something.

Sometimes people need to be shamed into action.

          18. marty mcfly says:

Jayz – “you dont know all the shit I do for the homies”… Now im not discouraging you from calling out Jayz but just make sure you call out the NY police department for over a thousand cases of police choking people between 2009 and 2014… You wanna spend time on Jayz then you can do that but the beast is a system made up of many people in the justice system that do not practice justice in its purest and most equal and balanced form. Id say Jayz is really not worth your attention at this time.

          19. Dashing28 says:

I’m on Rap Radar man. The police aint reading the comments here.

Like I said, I’m doing a lot of other shit. And i’ve been at protests and spoke to the police personally, more than most..

And I’ve written extensively on the subject of police violence, but the people here know that already. I’ll wrte about that on a white site or at the protests.

On RR, I;m commenting to encourage us to spread the message to ourselves and to encourage the ones with the loudest voices to speak up.

          20. marty mcfly says:

Yeah and Im encourage YOU to speak about the issues. I dont care what Jayz has to say when YOU the one in the streets protesting. I wanna hear what YOU have to say, not Jayz. If I wanted to hear Jayz, id turn on his music. This is not about Jayz, its about the people.

          21. Dashing28 says:

Good. I’m glad that you’re one of the few people who takes my opinion seriously and would diligently scour the internet for my blog post about it, but most people aren’t as thorough as you….

So when Us Weekly, People magazine, XXL, Complex, Rap Radar, Hiphopdx, The Source, Pitchfork, Entertainment Tonight, Hot97, Power 105, Z100, MTV, Vh1, BET, E!, TMZ and all of the other media outlets right an article that says “Jay Z speaks out against the Eric Garner verdict, encourages people to vote for law requiring cops to be prosecuted by independent Dstrict Attorneys” it’ll get a lot more eyeballs on it than when I say it on little blog.

Again, I’m doing my thing whether Jay does anything or not. But it sure would help A LOT if he did say something.

          22. marty mcfly says:

Alright man but again, Jayz is not the concern here. Eric Garner is and the thousands of people who have been brutalized by the police is the issue.

          23. Dashing28 says:

We’re talkin in circles so goodnight marty. I don’t even know what I’m arguing with you about.

Agree to disagre I think. If jay or ye or em or drake comes out an issues a statement then I’ll jump back in and talk to you. Til then peace.

          24. Savimbi says:

            Co-sign 1000000%

          25. marty mcfly says:

He made it about Jayz instead of the killings by the police and the reason he wants Jayz to speak on it is so it can be reported on CNN and its already being reported there anyway.

jay just a selfish piece of shit, look how he does his friends, DAME/ BIGGS/ MEMPH….JAYS time has come n gone NU MONEY

          1. marty mcfly says:

Jay put millions of dollars in those guys pockets. I dont have any friends that look out for me on that level. If Jays time has come I wonder why people always look for him to do shit that they can do themselves. If you want a statement made about the Eric Garner then make the statement yourself. People are so caught up in the power of celebrity thats its not even about the statement or the murders anymore, its about what Jayz aint doing and thats ridiculous. The last person I was talking to about this spent more time talking about Jayz then the officer who choked Eric Garner to death. COMEONSON.

          2. Bilaal says:

Theoretically it shouldn’t matter. But in actuality and practically a platform matters. Clearly you have a soft spot for Sean Carter, but the argument can be made for any person with a existing platform. It will and historically always has taken a Charismatic Leader with a platform and societies ear to speak to the masses to enact some “awakening”.
Now wheather that charismatic leader should be a “Celebrity” is open for debate. But everyone knows what happens to People who speak up for Blacks in this country and speaks truth…. they are murdered…. quickly. Forget about a few less dollars in their pockets. People are mainly upset that celebrities/rappers don’t speak out because they wrongly assume they think and act like you do.
            NEWSFLASH…. they don’t .

      2. Nickey38 says:

Thumbs up on your comment. They’ll never be another Tupac.

    4. hilroycahier says:

Rap is in a vice lock bro. Simple. Cats would rather saddle up on the beach with lots of money than worry about the plight of people. Truthfully, I blame it on them being old and slow. I mean, not slow slow, but slow enough that they feel they don’t want to get shit started. Like that batman quote went, you either die as the goodguy or live long enough to become the bad guy. I think there’s some truth there to what we are talking about here.

Unfortunately, I think the only hope for conscious movements is through a mass of new schoolers creating a storm to solidify a new outlook of things. The problem is that the new schoolers don’t seem all to wise. Again, everything in rap often seems short termed and short sighted that I don’t think those qualties can be found often anymore. We live in a culture of lazy, lying bitches who look no further than tomorrow night and how much cash can be flashed on instagram. People have been fucking duped and fooled 10x over.

Nobody should be using these guys to profit at the end of the day

And these cats singed to big white labels better not say a damn thing unless wish to suffer the consequences

And at the end of the day fuck these rappers who came up off doing vile acts to others unjustifiable and glorifying it on records but now wish to take a stand I ain’t going for that at all

Niggas kill niggas everyday B and these niggas don’t really care about that shit!

  7. PanamaFresh says:

Okay – yal need to stop acting like Jay ever said he was about US…Jay been about Jay from jump street. And yes, all these cats are beholden to the game…they all do a little dance so the machine will allow them to keep that spot. They have power and influence…but only to a certain extent…it comes with parameters…and they know this. So don’t anyone of them to say anything supportive to the real struggle…or SPAZ out on some fight the power. That was PE, that was NWA, that was XCLAN, the was POOR RIGHTEOUS TEACHERS, these show boaters are not that…don’t get it twisted. The only one crazy enough that may SPAZ a little is KANYE…but he has already felt the SHADE of those types of actions already. You guys do notice in context of his stature…Kanye has been given the SEMI-BLACK BLANKET treament for a while now by the industry. So expect him to act right for the time being at least.

  8. PanamaFresh says:

THANKS CROOKED!!! It will be written in the books that you properly honored that sacred mantle of a true GRIOT and in your time on this earth you had the SPINAL & TESTICULAR FORTITUDE to use your gift of storytelling for the plight of those oppressed.
