LL Cool J On ‘The Combat Jack Show’
Ill Bomb.
Combat Jack caps off the year with The G.O.A.T., James Todd Smith. He discussed his upcoming album The G.O.A.T 2, family life, and of course, 30 year career. Read a summary below.
We couldn’t end this year right without having the G.O.A.T. on. How he survived an abusive upbringing, studied his craft with early rap pioneers in the same rap dojo with Kool G. Rap, becoming the foundation stone that became Def Jam, building with Queens’ street legends, battling this rapper, that rapper and Jay Z, why he didn’t sign management with Diddy, the “Accidental Racist” thing, flipping burglars in his castle and the victory of seeing his wife survive Cancer, its all here and more. From Hollis to Hollywood, this episode is most certainly blowticious. LL Cool J will forever remain hard as hell. Pause.
Why do I never listen to these but willingly listen to the hyena podcasts. The annoying-ness of yn really makes you appreciate the combat jack show.
This is one of the best podcast ever.
Chapo!!!!!!! Salutes sir.
Go home chicken little.
The history on The Combat Jack show should be gotten by any and every Hip Hop head. From beginning to now no one comes close. Maybe Juan Ep because they’ve been at it longer but the Combat Jack show gets ppl to open up a lil more besides the music because the atmosphere seems like a bunch of friends kickin it. Well wit the exception of that Rick Ross episode and even then I did learn somethin new. I’m sure this episode clockin in jus under 2 hours will be rite up there wit the best of em tho. Salute! I wish Dallas Penn came back.
my best friend’s mom makes $60 an hour on the laptop . She has been without work for seven months but last month her payment was $15868 just working on the laptop for a few hours. Learn More Here.,.Read more
Besides Combat and Juan Ep, r there any other solid hip hop podcasts that’s worth checking out?

They podcast is becoming increasingly popular for expanding brands so more and more have been popping up. Those are jus a few. great interview one of the best to ever do it
This guys wants to battle or be mention with the likes of Hov soo fucking bad!!! Bet this whole album will be shots thrown at Jay
Yes!! All he want to do is get a chance to show the world he can squash Jay-Z, but it will never happen he got a better chance at joining him then beating him!! lol
I’ve been peeping him and Dame Dash lately, sneak dissing Hov!!!
sneak diss like hell! lol
QUEENS REIGNS SUPREME!!!! ONE OF THE GREATS!!!!
#QUEENS
DON’T HATE ON MY OPINION!!!!
Really good interview! Glad he touched on the Over Hyped rap battle between Jigga and himself!! Wished they would have touched on the Canibus battle, the Phenomenon album a bit more because Puff hands was all over that joint and the best track from the album was produced by Erik Sermon(4,3,2,1)!! He;s genuine but you know there is somethings he really want to get off his chest!! lol
I Love Combat Jack and All but Reg can somtimes be the worst interviewer of all time…just shut up sometimes PLEASE!!!!!!
But They Dope regardless!!!
Classic Interview… Indeed he’s the G.O.A.T.. Who Greater? Not Better, Greater.. There’s a big difference,Nuff Said…
